Seventeen people have died from a horrific accident on the N2 highway, near Phongolo in KZN. According to preliminary reports, a truck collided with a minibus taxi that was ferrying school pupils. Kwanele Ncalane has the latest details.

  1. I travel that road regularly those drivers are a menace. They so reckless and rely on the trucks technology way too much. They need to be bared from that road. The road in that area is so narrow, it's so small for medium size vehicles let alone trucks. Why is government intervening to stop them from using that route. Surely they must be an alternative route that does not put the lives of innocent road users at risk. Between bethal n pongola I probably pass over 1000 trucks. Way too many trucks for such a bad road.

  2. How are they a caring government when they have not intervened on time? Ayanda Msweli (Ukhozi FM) has been pleading with authorities to intervene on behavior of truck drivers in that area. Government has failed the victims.

  3. The driver from ATDF is already on the wrong,why do they take their strike on the road,l heard an audio that the driver was running from police coz they tried to close the road,it's so sad
