2. I got the pro max 256gb but tbh im gonna give it a try but I'll probably just sell it at a high price and buy a sony xperia 1 iv. Beautiful phone.

7. Is it just me, or does the cinematic mode on the iPhone 14 look better then a lot of professional filming cameras I see people using in their videos?

8. I guess my upgrade from 11 pro max and my wifes upgrade from 7+ pro max to 14 pro max will have to wait until they fix ios 16

9. Ios 16 has an issue where if you open the Youtube app and play a video n lock the phone the videos continue to play. Very annoying somebody please tell apple. Thanks

26. Unless Apple is going to start building ND filters into the iPhone, 30 fps is the correct frame rate in most situations.

27. That was strange that the 3x zoom was so much more detailed on the 13 on that night shot, the blue sign and the text was more sharp and detailed on the 13 and more out of focus on the 14 🙁

28. Coming from the iPhone 11 Pro max. Got my iPhone 14 pro max on release. It was 100% worth the upgrade. It’s the most solid and high quality phone I have ever held. Since maybe the iPhone 4. I love the box like frame. I hated for so many years having that rounded cylinder shape phone. I slung my iPhone 6 Plus down a stone hallway because there was nothing to hold on to. Just from pulling it out of my pocket. That was the last iPhone I had for 4 years or so.
    The feel the size the volume on videos (almost too loud)
    A 13 with iOS 16 maybe not be worth the upgrade. But instead of listening to people on the internet.

    Why don’t you decide for yourselves. Phones these days hold their value and cell like crazy. There are a lot of people that can’t get contracts, or afford the 120$ monthly bill. So they buy phones put right. But the phones are also 1-1,3k$. Still expensive! So they buy used ones. If you can afford the upgrade and don’t mind the bill. Upgrade then and sell your 12-13 iPhones. Everyone wins.

33. Thanks for a very detailed review comparing the 2 top iPhone models. Sure sounds like I can hold off on upgrading as I have an iPhone 13 Pro max and I can't really tell the difference in photo and video qualities. Sure the oddly named "dynamic island" is cool, but isn't worth the $900+ I need to pay after trading in my old phone which still has 100% battery capacity. Cheers, mate! From Canada.

34. I was thinking of switching to the iPhone 14 but, I love my Note 20 Ultra too much. Only a little circle for the front camera cut out and the always on display keeps the screen off while only displaying the time and date and it's very customizable. Also, The zoom is amazing and I can actually take detailed photos of the moon. The main reason I love this phone though is the in screen fingerprint scanner. I would hate to give that up for face unlock. IDK why apple doesn't do an in screen finger print scanner.

37. I’m an IPhone user since Iphone 4.
    Skipped the 7 abs the XS.
    Liked the 11, 12 and 13. The cameras are the most important feature for me.

    I have a S22 ultra and a 14Pro in black in front of me. I installed GCAM on the S22 ultra. No comparison, the pictures of the Samsung are substantially better than the Iphone 14 Pro!! Video on the Iphone is better, though.

    My 13 pro is on sale, will switch to Samsung this year.

38. Great review, terrible phone. Apple stopped innovating, I guess, many years ago. All it does is copying others. What is actually new in the 14? Only for the apple users. Apple is nowadays a financial company, not a technological one.

40. Honestly not a big difference to upgrade from last year 1k dollar phone to new 14 series 1k dollar. In fact I would rather stay with 13 pro max save my money for 15 series. As day to day life the specs on paper doesn’t Matt 😅.

42. Honestly, if you have an 11 Pro or newer, it's better to wait. I really want to buy this phone but without USB C, these upgrades don't really have me convinced. They're great updates, just not worth another grand.

43. It looks around 13% better performance on iPhone 14 pro max than iPhone 13 pro max. I don’t see any point to upgrade to new one.
