It’s much easier for a predator to hunt a young animal than it is to hunt a full-grown one, but there is also much less to eat when it’s time to sit at the dinner table. Have you ever seen a leopard fiddle with a young baby impala? Do you think a raccoon is quick enough to grab a squirrel in a tree? If you like watching animals in action, this is it, so let’s not waste any more time and get to it.

Lion
This young buffalo calf probably wandered off, or this lion managed to snatch it from its mom, but at this point, it doesn’t really matter how he ended up there. His life just ended. When a lion spots a lone buffalo calf next to a tree, he easily takes it down for a count of three and then some. There was no way this small calf was getting out of this one. These younger lions look like they are playing with this buffalo calf, but they are slowly killing it. At first, there is only one lion, but a second one joins the fun shortly afterward, and they each take turns biting the calf. I think it’s safe to say this little guy doesn’t have much time left to live. A huge male lion approaches a buffalo calf and looks puzzled for a few seconds before he casually grabs the young animal by the neck and takes him to his grave.
A lioness finds easy prey when it spots a buffalo calf abandoned by the herd. When they are fullgrown, cape buffaloes are formidable enemies for lions and kill lion cubs when they can. They can also cause a lot of damage to adult lions. The buffalo calf in the video is easy prey for the lioness as there are no adult buffaloes nearby, like his mother for instance, or any other members of the herd to defend him. A field guide managed to provide his guests with a stupefying front-row-seat sighting during a safari expedition. The lions had already attacked the calf before they arrived. The buffalo cow and other members of the herd had pushed the lions away, so when the onlookers arrived at the sighting, the lions were watching the buffalo from a safe distance plotting their second attack. After an hour of waiting, the buffaloes started moving out, with the lions not far behind.
Cheetah Vs Antelope
A cheetah hunted a small impala at night and made the kill, but the cat had some visitors when a few jackals showed up to see what they could get out of this. Cheetahs are not the best to defend a kill, so when a hyena showed up, it decided to abandon the carcass and ran off. After a cheetah made a kill, wildlife enthusiasts initially kept their distance, so as not to disturb the animal while feeding. However, the cat had something else in mind: as there were no trees within the next mile or so and the sun was already burning down, the cheetah dragged the gazelle to the only shady area near her: under the footboard of the onlooker’s Landcruiser. The sequence you see was filmed over a time span of almost two hours – Two hours with no other vehicle around them – truly the sighting of a lifetime. A cheetah already has hold of an antelope and it’s not letting go.
However, at some point, for unknown reasons, when the antelope wiggles, the cheetah lets go of the animal and escapes. In this clip, what may seem like a play, is actually a dinner table manner the cheetah cubs way. The cheetah’s mom killed a pregnant gazelle so the entire family could enjoy a healthy meal. But the cubs don’t know there is a fetus in the gazelle’s body, and once one cub finds the fetus, he walks away with the prize the way big cats do, as they sit aside and eat peacefully, only this time, it won’t be peaceful since there’s another cub that wants a piece of the unborn gazelle. This is Bullet the cheetah of the Masai Mara. She is famous for almost never failing during a hunt. She was named bullet because she runs with blinding speed, which is the main reason she is successful during most hunts. A young cheetah walks away with a young gazelle kill and looks for a hiding place among the trees and bushes not to reveal its kill. Wildlife enthusiasts set out in the early morning and came across this family close to Sand River in Masai Mara. Suddenly, the mother dashed off and brought down this baby gazelle.
