For that one story where they were playing hide and seek as kids. Why didn’t the parents or even the police check the attic? Technically they didn’t check the complete house. And how do they just move on from that, especially the parents. It just sounds very off, very fake

Ok the Uber one, here is a lesson. If someone says “my friend needs help” or “I need help” you say “OK I AM GOING TO CALL AN AMBULANCE” if they say “No (enter an excuse)” you leave if they really needed help they would accept the ambulance.
