Did you know that a magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit the famous Transamerica Pyramid in 1986? The impact of the earthquake was equivalent to 30 Hiroshima bombings, but somehow the skyscraper remained survived. In this video, we’ll explore 6 megaprojects around the world that stood through the most disastrous earthquakes and Tsunamis in world history.
In today’s video we look at megaprojects that survived natural disasters. Keep watching to see natural disaster, natural disasters, megaprojects, natural disasters 2021, natural disasters caught on camera, biggest megaprojects, natural disasters that could happen, natural disasters waiting to happen, natural disasters that could happen by 2030, natural disasters that could end humanity, megaproject, megaprojects gone wrong, natural disaster documentary, 5 megaprojects that went horribly wrong, worlds megaprojects, expensive disasters, and constructions megaprojects.

I appreciate the narration here. Concise, detailed, and informative.😊
All of these earthquakes kind of scare me but this is very fascinating
wow,It's an amazing video. It's so much fun, Thank you for sharing it on YouTube
all my respect to all those who are behind these masterpieces.
I can't believe the tower survived an earthquake of that size!
Talk about skill. Amazing on how well the building's where built to survive
This video was very shocking. I can't believe these structures withstood these natural events like if nothing happened to them. Certainly the magnitude of these events could've had taken them apart however good engineering work saved them.
Those irresistible natural disasters totally cause significant damage to human nature. Those mega projects are awesome and totally save lives. Well design.
Natural disasters are something very sad that happens in many countries, but we see that the structures in the construction have been innovating and some have managed to prevail in the midst of these disasters
Seems like the US would do well to pay attention to these things, and start building appropriately. But then again, it's all rich projects, and we're not really interested in saving the actual people who live there, are we????? I survived Katrina. I earned my right to fuss after our levees broke. Watching Ian last week was just… heartbreaking. I do find it very interesting how people from many many years ago managed to make better earthquake proof architecture than LA does today!
The buildings and structures before were built in a solid, good foundation, and in a sustainable way that even the then and now disasters, those were not affected.
amazing how earthquake resistant tech has evolved over the years surprised that something as old as the forbidden city could survive powerful earthquakes
Wow well done to the people that built these mega projects, they were extremely well planned out. 👏👏
Natural disasters have always scared me. I pretty much didn't sleep my freshman year of high school because all we discussed in science class was how the Earth itself is going to try and kill us.
They're certainly built to last – speaks volumes for the design! Was fascinated by the wind damper idea!
Very cool video. Wow, Taipei 101 is amazing to see. Top notch engineering and construction. All of these megaprojects are phenomenal in their own respect.
this survived really amazing and this projects most good
Civilisation fight against nature.
eathquakes are soo scary
whew!
It just goes to show how far civilization has come to even withstand nature's wrath, a few years ago we were so powerless and now see how far we come.
Hats off to the engineers and architects who designed these mega projects. Amazing!
I love ur videos man keep em coming!!!
we got vast experience on mega projects that could survive any natural disaster.informative project.thanks
Nice video to know Megaprojects Survived Natural Disasters.
