15. I adopted a 2 month old kitten with the same thing. I kept him on a large low-nap area rug. He learned his back claws would get traction. He got strength in his legs and within 6+ weeks he was walking and running like he never had a problem.

It is curcumin and quertcetin.. it is approvwd by rhe fda for animals with swimmers syndrome. I was told to usr it for my back with mega red krill oil . I saw it on line a few yrs back and they said it works for the dogs. You can find it on line. It may help

22. If your puppies show signs of this when very young, place rubber shelf liners in their pens to give them traction when they move their back feet. This will build up the muscles and help them to overcome this condition quickly. I know a woman who was a breeder and had one puppy with this and she called and spoke with The Incredible Dr. Poll and this was his advice. Worked like a charm! By the time the pup was three or four weeks old all signs of this were completely gone!!

40. Swimmer syndrome is 100% treatable. In most cases that I've seen, the kitten or puppy makes a full recovery.

43. Ok so read every message and all or almost all, are either about the “hot vet” and/or the “cute pup”! I agree so far, however am I the only one that noticed the GREEN pool? Use some shock or something please!!! Our pools look blue here in the US! I am surprised the “hot vet” got in that pool! Ugh 😩
