  1. My niece worked in Buckingham Palace, she said one of the housekeepers told her the queen and family made fun of anyone and everyone who was around. Whether quests or audience appt or whoever. They drank a few drinks everyday which is no big deal but just every thing they would say about ppl. What they wore, how they spoke, what they looked like, weight anything.
    Even if the ppl weren't rich or whatever. They looked their best too. They paid millions and millions and they just sat there and made private jokes.

Regarding the royal beekeeper: the tradition to tell the bees that the master or mistress has died, but that they will be taken care of, is a tradition in many lands across Europe and not reserved just for the royals. The belief goes, that if the master or mistress doesn't show up, the bees might leave the hive and find a new master or mistress.
