Looks good, but it better be elevated on pilings on the coast.
Can we make it bigger
2022 : 🍺🫲🏻 hold this
What’s this song playing in the beginning
Should be mandatory in building codes. Stronger and consistently updated building codes. Is a must.
Is that hemp Crete withstanding a lot better
No reason wooden can't be strong use hurricane ties and metal brackets! It saved my house and had minimal damage through an ef3 tornado in Ontario. Metal siding is the way to go as well
Why u guys don't Spend on strong concrete homes with concrete ceiling….rather than spending whol life just to make wodden home..that can get burner easily ..damaged easily and destroyed easily
التصالح مع مدبر الكون
هي أقصر الطرق
I would rather evacuate.
Hurricane or tornadoe proof house is just simply all made of concrete no hallow blocks, design like a bunker or just simply cube building just all concrete with strong round bars skeleton Like that! Or I-beam steel, common sense!!! Wht the FCK is happening to this American people they can't learn from their mistakes, how many decades past, still building their houses from woods or Lego blocks and galvanized roofing? Wtf?😄
This is nothing new
Try building that in the philippines though.. Not gonna happen..And the termites will eventually eat it down to balsa wood strength .
Why is WOOD used? Why not STEEL?
Use concrete not timber
MAGA
But NOT a tornado unless concrete
How skyscrapers withstand high wind ….pretty sure they not made of wood..
Future house design for OdettePh typhoon survivors
CLIMATE CHANGE HOR$E$HIT
wtf are these kindling toys? These wouldnt even be legal in most of north Australia, they are that far below standard.
I have experienced Irma in St. Maarten. Do you have any reference buildings there or on nearby islands?
Just reinforce it with steal and concrete
When i was a little kid, i asked my mom, why do people who live in hurricane or tornado areas, keep rebuilding the same bad home designs over and over, when u could just design one to withstand it?
She was like, idk son.
Ahahahhahahah saw this place on HGTV. I think this is the place, they were looking for a cheap beach house and now I know why XD. Oh nooo. I want to retire to oklohoma so o well.
Hi
You sort of casually mentioned Forest Fires… but none of your material that I have seen, thus far, tells about Fire Protection…
I am strongly interested in building a "Mountain Cabin" retirement home — probably in the Smoky Mountains area. Wild Fires are 'rare' in the area… BUT… a few years back, they had a Devastating Fire over many acres…and Many homes were badly damaged or destroyed…
Why does this remind me of George Van Tassel's "Integraton" out there in the Mohave?
Hurricanes have been around longer than people. California goes up in flames because they don’t thin out the forest or cut down dead trees. It’s called forest management, it has not to do with the climate, bunch of stupid people out there.
Jeez I want one now.
It seems like the no Interior wall concept would severely impact your safe places if you can't get to a bunker.
Of course one would want the brick house where Mr Wolf huffs and puffs his hardest… 🐺💨💨🧱🏠🧱🐖🐖🐖🧱🏠
Stop building these crazy big homes you decadent bunch!
Way bilding in wood ?
You need to bild your home from reinforced concrete,
It's more exepnsive but it's for life.
Stupid bideo
Can these homes be constructed to withstand debris from powerful tornadic winds? Tornadoes can toss large projectiles like bullets.
Where is your flood plan? Sure, you get high winds but without a flood plan you have not protected the building from hurricanes. You have protected it from half a hurricane.
If it's not made of concrete and rebar steel, you are wasting money.
Why not formed and poured steel and concrete, the entire house is one piece.
When i move in Usa i was stunned how weak houses are i called them cardboard boxes.
It's that simple, just go to the Woodglut website and enter the world of woodworkers.
Houston storm got me here
human beings are funny. all our anestors chose to live in round houses for a reason. then we chose to leave it cause we follow popular fads. but then nature comes but to teach us why we made round houses in the first place hahah
Whoooo!👊🖐
