1. Here's an idea: let it breach containment during SCP-001. As long as it has no idea about the flesh melting sun, there's nothing it can do about it, since it can't not get rid of its exposure to the sun. The worst case scenario is that it finds a patch of shade and learns about it, but if it does find itself exposed to the sun, it's conscience is bound to be erased as it joins the bodies of those who were once people.

    Purhaps, trying to kill the lizard is going about it all wrong. Purhaps keeping it in acid is only making it stronger.
    What if a being, one of kindness, with an infinite capacity for life and a near bottomless ammount of, determination, could change this creature. What I'm saying is. What if a small anomalis child, with all the love and determination in their heart, coyld spare the monster, and teach it to show mery for others. To show kindness to those who may not deserve it, may just make their life a little easier, and nicer.

    001 (the gate guardian): this test has already happened and scp 682 still managed to survive maybe if we could use the gate guardians full power we would be able to kill 682

    173 (the statue): this test also already happened and 682 was very scared of 173 claiming “you don’t know what you’ve done this thing will kill us all” 682 then proceeded to try to run away from it

    096 (shy guy): this test already happened and it didn’t turn out to well for 096 682 proceeded to emotionally scar 096

    999 (the tickle monster): this test already happened and it could’ve possibly worked 999 managed to make 682 laugh a lot and managed to tank the stomp of 682 but 682 adapted and used the laughter as a weapon and breached containment

    169 (the leviathan): with its giant size we could possibly throw scp 682 into the ocean with 169 but if 682 survives he could grow giant and make an end of the world scenario

    343 (god): come on it’s god you’d think he could beat 682 but when they put 682 and 343 together god couldn’t see him and said “he’s not one of mine deal with him yourself” how reliable
