When training to be in the RSPCA, all animals are under your protection. The trainees are taught how to handle swans, geese and owls. A man using a greyhound to illegally hunt hares gets spotted by a police drone and abandons his dog during the escape, now it’s up to the RSCPA recruits to make sure it’s okay.
Hosted by Patrick Stewart, Animal Rescue School follows the day-to-day lives of RSPCA trainees for a year, giving an in-depth look into animal treatment, welfare and rescue.

Can I find you on TV 😳? I See every Episode from Animal Police on Animal Planet TV….🥰
Always enjoy Patrick Stewart's voice.
Thank you for the update on the rescued animals outcome.
Congratulations To All Of You 😊
Please fix the title. There is no apostrophe in the conjugated verb "to abandon." It is simply "ABANDONS," without the apostrophe.
Thank you for showing us a bit in the life of these students – it was very interesting and uplifting and I hope they all pass. (Why are there no males, by the way? Are there males but they are trained separately? Or are there just no males?)
Can’t wait for the next episode with these trainees to see if they all pass ❤
God bless all the people that help all animals in need!
Awesome progress by all the newbies! And great training course and environment too. I'm also an animal lover and this would be a great course to pursue! 😁👍
Becky, wasn't she in a series as an archeologist solving very old cases with human remains?
Very very good work people
Congrats to all of you, officers of RSPCA! Love this series, great work! Bravo👍👏❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations to Everyone that passed. I live in the United States and I don’t know if the Humane Societies here have these kinds of schools to learn so extensively about animal welfare, after watching the RSPCA School, there is definitely an advantage in having the knowledge of different species of animals. In the US for wildlife we have Wildlife, Game and Fish, in the wilderness, but we have, Animal Control or The Humane Society, for smaller animals. I think some of your RSPCA Officers could teach classes here in further animal protection! Greetings from Loveland, Colorado USA 🇺🇸
Not a real channel. This is a fake
BRAVO ! You ALL passed the course ! Now the real experiences begin. This series is amazing-thank you for posting it .
Lurchers are my favourite dogs, and that was a beautiful girl they rescued from hare coursing. Such a gentle sweet natured dog. I hope she got a good home.🖤🇨🇦
Great job. Well done
Well done everyone. So proud of you all. Congrats..
They have not focused on any male trainees. I realize the majority of the students are women but it's not 100%. (Other than that, I find this series somewhat interesting.)
Wrong title…
this is something Canadian SPCA Officers need to go through
Congratulations to all the RSPCA Officers
You were awesome and amazing
We were and are in all of your corners.
Thanks to your Teaching Inspectors
and your Professors on hand learning Teachers too.
Thanks to the Police Officers whom worked
with all of you too. Nice to have a good
working relations with each other.
Blessings to Everyone 🎉🎉🎉
Could you ask YouTube to stop interrupting with their publicity, its very annoying…other clips on other channels, rescues, dont have the constant interruption …thanks beforehand…so happy all passed the exam
I hope the abandoned lurcher got a good home too, they seemed like a real sweetie and it's not their fault they were being used to chase hares!
Near the end of the video, the injured deer brought back memories from about 12 years ago. I came across an injured moose calf on the northeast corner of my land. I didn't see Mom (she'll kick you to death to get to her calf) anywhere and knew I couldn't leave him with night falling. We have wolves, cougars, and bears in the area. I had to go back to the house and get the truck to bring him up. He was only about 4 months old but weighed about 60/70 lbs. I couldn't carry him a quarter of a mile up to the house. Just as I was standing up from him, out of nowhere on my left side mama came barreling in like a steamroller! She knocked the wind out of me as she tossed me about 6 feet into the willows. I just laid still and didn't move a muscle. For almost 3 hours! -20C. Every time I tried to move, she came at me. Whatever happened to the calf, he must have felt better. She kept encouraging him in between running over to me and stamping the ground, and he finally got up. Then they had to nerve to show up the next day at the round horse feeders casually eating while pretending to be a couple of ugly horses! I fed them all winter long. I feed any wildlife that ends up on our land in harsh winters. No hunting, just eating! lol
Congratulations to all.
I'm so happy all have passed the exams. Thank you for sharing the course.
This is a great show.
Congrats to all the new officers! We need you!! The animals need you! Thank you!
Congrats to these RSPCA newbies! It’s awesome to see that level of devotion to animal rescue shown by these people. It’s not about the title or even gpa. Nope. All about saving the animals. One recruit was motivated to get her drivers license bc she wanted to be an officer. Wow. I worked as a dog groomer’s assistant long ago. Loved it! It was demanding on every level, but rewarding bc of dog kisses. Truly! My last job was at Petsmart. I worked there for the animals only. Once retail revealed its hail/hell, I left. I’d rather deal with animals than people these days. But being an RSPCA officer is a big deal. Domestic and wildlife rescues aren’t for the feint of heart obviously. Kudos to them. And their new adventures in animal/human land. ✊🏽
I hate to see animals mistreated! 😢
