What could go wrong with summer camp? Throughout pop culture, summer camp has been a time-honored tradition at the movies and on television. From scary slasher movies like Friday the 13th, The Burning, and Sleepaway Camp to funny comedy fare like Wet Hot American Summer, Addams Family Values, Heavyweights, Meatballs and more, there’s just something about summercamp that makes it a perfect fit for fun entertainment. Still, any summer camp survival guide should warn you exactly what could go wrong with summer camp. Camp Crystal Lake from the Friday the Thirteenth series is maybe the most iconic slasher summer camp around, from it’s killer cook Pamela Voorhees to her brutal baby boy Jason Voorhees. From The Burning to Sleepaway Camp, it’s inspired countless copycats, but the summer carnage doesn’t stop there.

"Those Happy Days" was pretty good, it's a great initiatic movie where the counselors learn to become adults with the help of the children, highly recommend it.
