Roslyn made landfall as a category 3 hurricane in the Mexican state of Nayarit,The phenomenon resulted in maximum sustained winds of 120 mph (195 km/h), at 06:20 (local time).
Hundreds of thousands of people in eight states remain on alert for heavy rains, floods and landslides. Roslyn made landfall this Sunday as a category 3 hurricane in the municipality of Santiago Ixcuintla, in the Mexican state of Nayarit, local authorities reported.
The collision occurred at 06:20 (local time) near the city of Santa Cruz, about 55 miles (90 kilometers) northeast of Tepic, the capital of Nayarit.
