Knew a guy who got a dui on a horse. Told the judge he was drunk, the horse wasn’t drunk!
I swear cops that don't know the law (which I'm sure about 99% of them don't know the laws regarding this situation) should either 1, learn that shit and or 2, ask the person they pulled over on the horse for them to pull up the law the protects them just so they can both learn the law and do their job at the same time. A lot of people don't know this but, cops pull people over majority of the time because they THINK the person broke the law.
Dude still acting like he know the law. Penalty. Didn't even ask anyone.

Yes, that officer endangered the rider, the horse, himself and the other road users, cars or pedestrians… if that horse bolted (it wouldn’t because that man is such an experienced and competent rider – but it could have been a beginner) it could have caused mayhem – a big pile up of cars and dead people everywhere!

Cops think anything they don't understand is an issue. A simple question to the rider could have solved this.
Gotta say I like the way he stood his ground, but as a driver I’d be pretty pissed at a guy riding a horse on a highway.
Exactly the same as the UK… the worst thing is drivers nowadays… they don’t take nearly enough care around horses… I always slow down lots and keeps revs low while passing and the riders are most gracious 👍 lots of people don’t!
