Paincourtville, Louisiana – Security cams captured a FedEx driver narrowly escaping an EF3 tornado that ripped through the region on February 23, 2016.
The video shows the heart wrenching moments when Kyra Johnson is seen running up to a True Value Hardware store. She quickly realizes the doors are locked. Kyra thinks quickly and hunkers down behind a nearby vending machine. She does so in the nick of time. Seconds later, the tornado annihilates the store.
According to store owner David Sagona Jr., “My store was demolished by an EF-3 tornado. My store surveillance cameras caught the destruction.”

The next day she was fired for not delivering her packages on time..
Poor lady. I could only imagine the PTSD she suffers from this. I bet every time the sky gets dark she starts to panic
OMG
This is from an article about her:
“After the storm had passed Ms. Johnson rushed into the store to check on the employees in the store to make sure they were okay.
"That was awesome within itself, but the most amazing thing to me in this whole story is after she composes herself she goes and finishes her route for the day," said Sagona (the store owner)”
Interesting video , but that was really bad music .
Poor thing!
Yoooooo the sync at 0:23
Glad she made it
99,700th view!!!!!!!!!
A terrifying moment she will remember
this explains why people hate 2020
Pussy. Ups wouldve delivered it still 😒
I'm buying a vending machine right now
This music is played during my morning poop.
So? She would've died in the Store now, right?
The vending machine she was hiding behind blew away, then the building came crashing down on her, she only had minor injuries!
WOW. Thank God you were okay Kyra. Wow.
i feel so sorry for her! that would be so scarily TERRIFYING!
I wish there wasn't music.
God knows that if that door wasnt locked she couldve had major injuries!
Get rid if the really distracting music. Silence is fine for security cameras — good grief.
FU**ING
FU*ING
WHY THE FU** THAT HAPPEND GOD THE SH** AS THIS GIRL WAS RUNNING HIS LIFE IS TERRIBLE EF-3 RIGHT CLOSE TO HER HIS BOY FRIEND CAME IN THE STORE THE DOOR IS LOCKED SHE WAS LOOKING FOR SHELTER DIRECT BYE HIT A TORANDO PLEASE REPORT THE FU*ING IDI** AND RUN YOUR LIFE LMAO.
If the driver suffered minor injuries (0:33), how did they escape injury?
Damn, this area Is getting hit pretty hard again today.. I believe the Killian area just got hit by a big bastard too, but that's up towards Lake Maurepas..
Wow that is insane!! It was a miracle that the Fed Ex driver wasn't more seriously injured!
This type music you play in a Terminator movie during a chase scene.
She is very lucky. She definitely had an angel protecting her. For those who don't understand why she took cover earlier. Our vehicles do not carry any radios so any warnings from the radio to take cover is not possible. I deliver in a rural area so I wouldn't be so luck.
It looks like Joplin.
Did she not know there was a storm coming? Why didn't she take shelter earlier?
It looks like she was luckier that the doors were locked judging by the damage to the store.
I could be mistaken but if you slow down the footage in the beginning where the building starts to collapse it looks like she's holding onto the yellow pole sticking out of the ground, which to me makes more sense.
I'm glad that she only got a few minor cuts and bruises instead of being killed. Now she has one hell of a survival story to tell to her future grandchildren!
she don't owe u shit
i live in paincourtville lousiana
She owes me a package
