Scientists may have figured out what caused a potential mass extinction over half a billion years ago and separately discovered a live animal that we had only known about through fossils!

😮💨🔥
Hard to imagine we are more damaging than an asteroid.
Definitely said 'billion' at the start there 😂
It wasn't a mass extinction, it was a balance patch.
Did you say 66 BILLION years ago?
Lol dickinsonia that scientist was having fun with nomanclature
Where can I go if I am all for deforestation?
Maybe be less Hyperbolic & Melodramatic about climate change & more Serious about Overpopulation. That is, if you actually care about biodiversity.
Nature can easily adapt to even 3C; it cannot adapt to 8 Billion human Beings & our massive agricultural expenditures.
Your move "Scientists". Truth matters.
You can’t tell me they didn’t know what they were doing when they started P NAS journal.
So the climate has always changed? And without human intervention? Maybe the big brains of today may be able to draw some conclusions contrary to currently held beliefs from this NEW RESEARCH 🤡
That sad, lonely 'E' at 4:59.
I guess that this extinction caused the Cambrian Explosion.
i wonder if those clams hide some ancient virus
Like mold on a loaf of bread still in the bag might we suffocate ourselves.
Has hank made a video about the science of trans people? Idk if its really his thing, but i trans and really wanna know why. Plus it'd be nice to have a good debate against transphobes. Thanks :]
……………………………..you speak much to fast for me to hear……………………..
Don't tell the conservatives or they're going to build a wall underseas too.
No location information on it, and poof now it's from Mexico. That's bad science.
What's with the "one another" that everyone says now instead of "each other"?
What outlandish claims… I mean Clams!
Covid
I remember Covid-19 Maskig 😆😆😆😆😆
It sounds like the little clams may have pulled the same trick as horses. They were once native but died off during the end of the last ice age, and then human activity brought them back, where they’re fitting right in without demolishing the ecosystem.
I approve of this theory because I cannot stand when people talk about Ediacaran fauna like "they were just made of lose and fail and that;s the ONLY reason why the VASTly superior Cambrian" blah blah blah. gtfo with that, they were around a lot longer than humans. People are too cocky.
