Two historic military planes collided and crashed to the ground Saturday during an air show in Dallas, exploding into a ball of flames and sending plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky. It was not clear how many people were on board the planes.

Emergency crews raced to the crash scene at the Dallas Executive Airport, about 10 miles (16 kilometres) from the city’s downtown. News footage from the scene showed the crumpled wreckage of the planes in a grassy area, apparently inside the airport perimeter.

  1. I always wonder if they left the house that morning with a bad feeling about the day…and went anyway. I've ignored intuition before to my detriment, but to not show up to an airshow because you have a bad feeling would be bad for a career, so they have no choice.

  2. Bro are these news programs gunna tell us anything about the family and how we can help or do they just want to show us people dying?

    Just me? K

  3. My prayers with families and friends of these pilots. I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss. It’s hard enough to lose a loved one privately much less in front of thousands of people. Sending prayers and love from Va

  4. Reports I'm reading said that there was supposed to be altitude and lane separation between the 3 fighters and the bomber. The P-63 seemed to stray low and wide. This is so sad. 😥

  5. My deepest sympathies go to the families of all the crew involved in this horrific accident. While it is tragic that a piece of American history has been turned into rubble, the tragic loss of life is immeasurable. I can't even begin to imagine what these families are going through. From experience, I know that the sudden and unexpected loss of someone close is the hardest way to lose someone. I bet nobody ever imagined this would happen, but it did. I pray that everyone close to them is doing well and that situations improve in some way. Love from South Carolina.

  6. My Prayers and condolences to all the family and friends of those lives lost that day. May they RIP. And prayers to all who went to watch the air show in hopes of fun and excitement for historic planes. I'm sure this tragic event caused some people especially children trauma! Can only imagine the sound on impact and then explosion with fire and impact on the ground must have been horrific! Just the sound on video was eerie. Imagine bieng right there. Especially for a child. Pray no one suffered during the impact. Pray no one suffers PTSD from this tragedy. Bieng the family watching this in person or on these videos must have been the worst and Pray God gives them strength and healing. Not going to point fingers and blame as many comments have been, I will say that this was an accident and obviously something went wrong on either 1 plane was off course or possibly stalled or engine/coordinates issues. But no matter what they all deserve real answers and not pointed fingers. So let's wait for the official reports please

  7. Dude in a little plane was trying to hotdog for the bomber and crew and killed himself and all of them in the process. Nothing says reckless like a Texas airshow would never catch me in that state let alone near anything like an airshow. Billy Bob was probably drinking before they tossed him the keys.

  8. This reminds me of a group of little kids sneaking in to play with a dad's pistol they know is hidden in a drawer. Sooner or later one of them is gonna get shot.

  9. My brother and I flew on that very plane a few years ago. One of the last 5 working B12s in the world. The flight crew was really cheerful and passionate about the plane. Some were veterans, others passionate volunteers. All rightfully proud of the work they were doing. Put all the money from tickets into the plane's maintenance. Good people. Hard to imagine that they're gone.

  10. There’s a flyboy/aviator club in heaven for men who gave their lives serving on B-17s n Bell P-63s… Tonight, these men are honorary guests, n drinks are on the house!🇺🇸🫡🍻

  11. This is very sad especially for me. This Thursday that very same plane flew over our school. R.I.P to the people involved in the crash. My prayer are with the families who lost their loved ones.

  12. I know a pilot involved in this team (not in the crash). These are retired military and commercial pilots who love flying and to share their love with others. These re-enactments are not only entertaining but is a way to help keep history alive.

  13. not a bird in the sky. im no conspiracy theoristy but i think its time we start taking a stand against the very real false flag operations in place here.. two planes dont just crash with no birds in sight, wake up people
