When natural disasters threaten, we turn to science and technology to warn us… to seek shelter or get out of the way. But can they face the ultimate threat: speeding projectiles from the depths of space? Cutting-edge space missions are underway to deflect and destroy space objects that threaten to rock our world. Can they save the planet from a killer asteroid?

If YouTube had a Middle Finger dislike button, I'm sure the dinosaurs would be hitting it pretty hard.
Every planetary video ever.. We don't know how it formed, but it definitely wasn't God.
Just another good movie and bla bla
The only downside of breaking a big rock into smaller rocks is that they will generate heat as the burn during entry into the atmosphere. Even if they don't hit the ground, their collective results can cause widespread fire outbreaks.
I don't see a lot of evidence that people want to save our planet.
I have been trying to encourage people to take climate action.
As Neil DeGrasse Tyson says, "Asteroids are the universe's way of asking us HEY, HOW'S THAT SPACE PROGRAM GOING?"
What if a city destroying meteor struck LA? My first reaction would be to smile and breathe a sigh of satisfaction . . .
For anyone wondering what to major/master in:
This Isn't science. It's engineering.
Select your 'tism carefully 😉 — study or build (maybe)?
Best option is to have all the Chinese jump up and down at the same time, disturbing the Earth's orbit
It's theorized a solar micro nova is expected within the next 30 years that is a reoccurring event as our solar system enter a specific portion in space in it's path around the galaxy. It occurs every 6000 and a larger event every 12000 years were coming up to the 12k mark which last happened at the end of the ice age causing a massive heat spike. Albert Einstein worked on this research but the CIA influenced the research results trying to say it took place over many hundreds or thousands of year's which the evidence didn't show. Einstein and the other top scientists conclusion was it took place in a single day causing a global flood. The geological evidence shows this all over the planet with massive rapid water erosion over the landscapes that far exceeded regular melting erosion levels even observed today.
I still think a nudge is better than a massive explosion of rocks falling onto us is better.
sound like humanity's last chance. to start a new with out an overbearing prison planet the WEF is pushing.
More dramatized bullshit!
