A great fighting tip I was taught by Tony Blauer is found in his SPEAR System which takes your natural defense mechanism and reverses them.
SPEAR stands for Spontaneous Protective Enabling Accelerated Responses.

Love and Respect!!!
Love it!🙏🙏🙏👍🏼👍🏼🦉
I had a moment when I was witnessing someone having a mental episode or was on something.
This guy was kicking cars yelling at people and picking fights with people
After sometime I watched him for 10 plus minutes not leave that guy alone no matter how hard the victim tries the other guy would not leave him alone.
So I got involved and stepped in the middle of them.
At first I talked to him telling him that he needs to go home.
This person started to pick a fight with me. I told him buddy I am hungry and I will eat you! Yes lol I did say that. He did start walking away.he was saying thing like I played hockey and ranting.
He turned after walking about 50 feet and came back.
I was watching his hands and the rest of his body he was getting a bit more aggressive so I set a don't enter zone what was 4 feet from me and when he steps in that space I was no him like BBQ chicken lol
He did not know what hit him.
I had got him headlock got him down pind him to the ground. So he could not hurt anyone or well himself more so.
But I did find out that there are new rules to being in a street fight lol.
You can tape out because after I got him pind down so he could not fight he tapped out yelling I give up.
Man you can take the guy out of training but you can't take the training out of the guy.
I was not going to keep him down all day once he started to be more calm and I told him to stop resisting he did go limp and relaxed I let him up and told him to go home sleep it off he did walk away.
I he must of forgotten what just happened because he got about 50 feet from us and turned to come back.
I told him this time you keep coming back I will destroy you.
Lol I alway say the wrong thing when the police are around lol
The cops delt with him came got my statement and the guy that I had stepped in to help.
Hope he got the help he needs lol yep there is a tap out rule now lol wish I got the memo lol
Don't forget to tuck the thumb.
That spear is otherwise known as a shuto uke, or knife hand strike, in the world of Karate.
Niceeeee!!! Good shit brother !!
Yess
yeah if youre up against a single static opponent with no arms
Question: When deployed and you returned from a mission, what was your SOP on unloading your weapons. ? Remove magazine, clear barrel, put away magazine or put the magazine back in the weapon?
Love the vids!!!… keep em comin Pat!
Hell yeah. Get some
Bruce Lee would be turning over in his grave. Try a brachial strike. It’s simple, and effective.
That's ridiculous. Sometimes you get into street fights with people who will distance themselves, or sweep the legs. Good luck with that tip.
I am have been been in BJJ for years. I was in a street fight once I choke a out with a cross collar choke with his hoodie sweat shirt
I can so see Pat acting "scared" right before he rips someone out of the frame. ;D
How fast he transitions from non aggressive to hammer time is scary. You are going to get seriously hurt in a very short frame of time. ;D
Sorry man, can't hear what you're saying when fear factory and coal chamber is playing in the background. Good music and good teaching. Keep it up
I feel like the feeling I get when I watch a Pat Mac video is the same feeling my frinds get when they come over. I always got some thing I gotta tell them about and demonstrate, and Dope music is indefinitely in the background.
Gotta love some Coal Chamber- Sway
Hell yes!
SPEAR is total shit sorry thunder bolt.
Chutzpah! Love it! McNamarastein! Honorary brother! 👍. Assume you know of Krav Maga. Very practical as well.
Looks very effective against a guy with no arms
That last part cracked me up “hey, I don’t want any problems…bam!”
Lol
I didn’t see any spear.
Literally keeping it simple stupid. I wear brown pants for my fear management.
Pat always amazes me 🙂 rock on!
Coal Chamber??
Yo Pat
Thanks for videos!
You Ever think about training Brazilian jiujitsu ?
You would kill it !
It’s So much fun rolling
Once you master the pronunciation of ‘chutzpah’, I think this could work.
Tony Never had a Street Fight in his life… So how can he teach something he knows nothing about… hes full of B.S.
A lot of people won't believe it, but that spear technique reminds me of an aikido technique called Irma nage where you thrust a s[pear arm to side of chest and face as you step in to opponent .
He seems to know what he is talking about .
Basic Uechi Ryu principle
Don't we normally do that in muay Thai?
