9. I have experienced hurricane such as this in Jamaica 🇯🇲 . I can remember the wind took off our entire roof of my Grandma house..It’s my belief when these hurricanes comes during the day time ,it’s better .why? One can see what’s happening around…

10. Oh maybe I'm weird but I love watching videos of weather like thunderstorms nothing better and more relaxing like that! I sometimes also go and then I listen to music I like like delta parole or metallica while I watch and take it in!

12. Those roots must run pretty deep for those palm trees to remain intact. Also, it helps to go with the wind not against it, so I imagine that helped as well

13. I remember going through this. Crazy weather, that is why I LOVE FLORIDA Yee Yee. No but seriously pretty scary. Did not loose my roof but we had interior damage in the roof.

21. Michael was a pretty bad-ass storm. Fortunately as it jntensified in strength it also began to speed up its forward motion. This could have slowed or paused for several hours it would have been catostrophic .

23. I love how roofs are getting torn away but the palm leaves are chilled
