5. The boat appears to be running parallel to the island instead of perpendicular . maybe it's an illusion , but they don't seem to be getting further away from the eruption .

25. I had been on that very island not even a month before it had erupted with the CEO of the company (white island tours) with us. Seeing all that footage of the places that I walked through after the blast just scares me. I don’t think that the public will ever be able to walk on that island ever again. Such a sad and unpredictable explosion. Thoughts are with the people who have passed on 😔

32. It's like Taal volcano here in Philippines. It erupted last January 12 (Phreatic Explosion) and is expected to have massive eruption as it continuously do volcanic activities. The tourists that day were lucky enough that they haven't reached its crater when it erupted. Being part of Pacific ring of fire is really scary.

33. Why would geo net or anyone not inform any of the tourist vendors about a deadly volcano reaching level 2 activity?? Seems like they just let all those people die…. barely any effort to save people still stuck there. Ugh makes me incredibly upset and angry!!!!
