Spread The Viralist

The Sons Of Samoa was formed in the mid 1970s and from the gangs foundation they always been about family and had a highly religious background with most of there parents being Mormons, but don’t let that fool you these guys are known to snap if provoked and the consequences of that are often deadly. Because of this they have had prominent figures like joker, One Drop & Snake who have made the gang one of the most respected and feared in California but they’ve also been in the headlines for several situations. Yea, from known drug operations, deadly wars with other gangs and some insane prison stories this gang definitely has a story to tell

  1. My bad for the Delay gang this one took a minute wanted to make sure I had everything in order, Hopefully you guys enjoy and learn some new information. Who yall want next tho gang? & don’t forget to like & subscribe, it goes a long way!

  2. Actually you gotta start from the beginning. As far as I can remember in '79 when SOS first came to E/S LB they claimed Blood a fraction from Carson SOS Pirus & claimed Crips after merging with 10th St Dogs (Crips) from Orange to Cerritos Aves. They claimed how Samoans didn't rival with other Samoans and claimed both. That didn't sit well with the rest of LB but eventually the blood aspect vanished 🙌🏾💯

  3. The first thing I heard was " man get that camera out of here what the fuck you doing" crazy how times change n a camera is the first thing ppl take out now to record stuff

  4. I played football at Orange Coast College with a Samoan from Long Beach named monster back in 1997. He was 6’ 5” 400 lbs cool and funny as hell. One night we had a pre football party at a Round table pizza and we each had a few beer. As we got back to my other buddy’s car Monster couldn’t get in the car without hitting the car next to us. So instead of waiting for my one friend to open the door he started slamming my fiends passenger rear door into the other car. That’s when I realized Monster was full of rage and anger and it only took a few beers to set him off. No one hung out with monster after that day then I heard from someone else that he had passed away. I can’t confirm that but if he did then RIP Big monster.

  5. Can someone please tell me the name of the dude getting interviewed at 38:15. Back in 91 he drove a white Mustang 5.0 with beats in it. Also the guy with the long hair, blue track suit and Seattle Mariners cap. I used to play basketball with them back in 91 at Silverado Park, West side Long Beach. They used to let me fill in when they did not have enough players. I also worked out at the gym with them. I had just moved here from Africa and they were very nice to me.

  6. My guy Nick I went to Stephens Jr High with was a crazy ass mf from SOS he ended up getting smoked by the 1 time but cuh wasted his talent he could hoop and was vicious on the gridiron RIP to him

  7. I lived on 14 th & Molino in the 80's. I remember Big and Lil Joker, Boxer, Shaka etc all them cats down the street. Crow, shorty, Lee RIP were my homies as a kid. Tui also a homie as a kid. Homie Dino use to kick it with them. They were a little older. I moved out in late 80's However still kept in touch with a bunch of cats. I have pics and plenty of stories from back then from the East Side of LBC. Times has definitely changed !

  8. Back in late 80s I was in juvenile camp with a gang member from SOS. I forgot his nick name but his last name was HEART or HART. He was really short compared to every other gang member IVe met from SOS. He was cool as matter of fact he was my working out partner 💪🏼. Right about now he would be my age 47 or 48 years old. Anyways I hope he is still alive and doing well 🙏

  9. Interesting when it's Prison time they go under "others" I don't know if that is a strategic thing for the AA's since SOS although mainly Polynesian they are under a black gang.

  10. I remember back in 1996 I was barely four years in the U.S.Army and I was home on leave/vacation. I used to live on 10th Street and Myrtle Ave 1074 Myrtle, now down the street at 1023 is an apartment building where the R20’s used to hang out at. On lime St and 10th St, there some duplex houses where the suis used to hangout at, my boi Jerald and his twin brother used to live on 10th St. and Olive Ave. Well one day Jerald was walking his dog in the alley begin his house and the suis hit him up, mind you Jerald has never banged before in his life! The suis was like fuck Twinkie’s! I don’t bang either but I took offense to that since I knew a lot of R20’s ie OG Wimpy and etc….. I had a H&K USP .40 Cal and I walked up the same alley and they banged on me! Now I don’t bang and I was a young PFC E-3 in the U.S. ARMY also a 11 Bravo infantryman.

Which means I’m not one BITCH with the .40 I beat feet up the alley and jumped in my car with Jerald and popped smoke from the area. I was driving east bound on Anaheim Street to Orange Ave, where the church’s chicken is located when I saw some more suis and they started to chase me and Jerald in my 1988 Chevy Beretta. Into Downtown Long Beach it was the 4th of July and we got stuck in traffic they jumped out (suis) and started to break the window’s out of my car! My (friend) ran from the car and left me for dead! I had to fight off 8 to 9 suis!! I held my own and didn’t get packed out! I just gotten my brown belt from Sensei Richard Robinson of Black Tiger Kenpo Karate his dojo used to be at Cal Rec park behind Poly high school. LBPD showed up arrested some of them while others ran off! I told the cops I don’t want to press charges. With the help of OG Ranger from Samoan Warriors Bounty Hunters out of Carson, but he lived off of 20th and Pasadena Ave. in Long Beach. He also had a dope spot off of PCH and Pine Ave. in some apartments there 1845 Pine Ave. That’s where I met OG Joe Fobb, OG Big Pineapple, and lil Pineapple. Ranger was an USAF veteran and U.S.ARMY Ranger school graduate, but I digress….. we all met at a Asian Pool hall on the east side of Long Beach on Cherry Ave. and 14th Street. Right across the street from Larry’s liquor store. That place was a known suis, SOS, CBC, and Islander hangout. Me and Ranger met Joe Fobb there, Ranger vouched for me with Joe and we all squared away that beef. My boi who left me I whooped his ass! I want to shout out Joe and Ranger for looking out for me back then! I was born and raised in Hawai’i on O’ahu From Wahiawa. So they understood my heart! Also Joe sat me down later and explained to me not to fuck my life up by doing dumb shit! Ranger told me the exact same thing! Mahalos Joe and Ranger I retired from the Army in 2013. I live in Los Angeles county now. RIP Joe 🙏🏽🙇🏽Mahalos USO! Franklin JHR alumni and Polytechnic HS alumni C/O 1992! Go Beach! 🐇

  11. The SOS subset gang Suis were actually formed as a mixed race punk rock gang in the 1980s. Formed by blacks samoans asisn and mecican punk rock kids to fifht against racists punks and skinheads . From what i was told. A few SOS members were bouncers at fenders ball room a places that helpd punk and metal showz in long beach. .. they seems to be inspired by the nand suicidal tendencies- who were from. Venice ( thata ehat the S upside down T logo came from – but now for lo ng bwach ots called suicidal town ) . They weren't affiolated with the venice suis from what i know .a black OG from that gang told me thats how they got started though. They were called Long Beach Suicidal Punks ( LBSP) this was in the 1980s very early 90s when there were a slew of punk rock gangs . It seems many of the original punk rock gangs eother became whote poweraybe even soutbsiders but LBSP was the only one became exclusively crip affiolated .

  12. Its sad that they do not know no better than a white mans religion. Mormon, christianity that includes catholics and others brained washed them.

  13. Its funny how the white mans religion whiped out their original way of giving thanks to their ancestors and nature and replaced with a white man on a cross who did not die for any of us.
