We need safe square to build in, Biffa says and sees the next unlock is quite a bit away. At the same time, there are several new areas open for purchase already. 🙂

Use offices instead of industry because 1. No pollution 2. Even with offices the industrial bar goes down biffa
You should build an city with the max of people in the game then you should auto click earthquakes until you get to zero people in the city.

How does that wall compare to an earthen levee? A small brush and the level tool could have built a levee where the wall refused to cooperate.
Why are the videos soooooo long?
Use Incineration plants. They produce electricity and dont fill up.

You could have purchased more tiles at the start. It doesn't show you other tiles in that view if you cannot purchase any.
