A family gathered in mourning on Thursday to honor their 12 relatives, 3 sisters and 9 children, who died in a house fire in Philadelphia’s Fairmount neighborhood one year ago. NBC10’s Cydney Long shows us the headstone that was unveiled to honor their lives.

So sad to see this again. 12 family members gone. My heart aches for them and their families. May they rest in peace.
It's sad because the night before they died, I was with my cousin/god sister Natasha talking to her, laughing, and playing games. Rest in peace 🕊
Just so very heart breaking….I can't imagine what this family is going thru…. this was a very beautiful headstone for this family….
*My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to this entire family and to ALL of those who had lost their lives in that horrible fire….. EVERYONE PLEASE know how IMPORTANT fire safety is!! You must discuss fire safety & fire exit ways with your children GOD FORBID if something like this were ever to happen!! PLEASE make sure you have multiple working fire detectors/fire extinguishers in/thru out your home at all times!! It only takes a couple of seconds for an entire home to be destroyed and innocent lives to be taken away too soon….😢🙏💕
