But, after the first volley, robber hit the ground, gun well out of reach, "hero" sees fake gun, shoots downed robber in the back of the head. Watch the whole clip. That's what we need people to take action and put a stop to these robbers that come into stores and just ransack or go in there and rob without any care whatsoever for any victim or for anybody else's life or what they're going to suffer ahead of time. So if somebody takes action. And yes I saw the video. It seems a little overboard but people are tired. They need to put a stop to this and if law enforcement is not doing it and releasing these criminals in less than a day or two I mean people get tired people. The public gets tired not only the owners and restaurant people that are in there customers but everybody else. I get tired of watching people being robbed stores being robbed jewelry stores being robbed and nothing's being done. And again when they do get caught they only get a slapped in the hand. We already know who's doing it and who could put a stop to it. A lot of them are teenagers, but if they get a stiff fine and stiff jail time I'm pretty sure they will stop it. Especially when they're going in there and crushing glasses with hammer and showing off guns. You know they have to put a stop to that and the police and the DA's office needs to get tough on that. I'm all for self defense but whats up with the head shot though?
Although I have no problem with the customer opening fire to defend himself and other customers, it has to be asked if he went to far! From an article I read about the footage of the video clip, it was mentioned that after shooting the guy 8 times, he then walked over, lent over the robber and shot him again! If that's the case, this wasn't just a case of defending himself and other customers in the restaurant, that would have been an execution! Now if the video footage shows that to be the case, then that would be murder, not self defence! I hope the video evidence shows otherwise!
This man still could have shot and wounded him without killing him senseless. He wrong for robbing them….no matter what.
