Idk. The satellite footage from when that actually happened last year looks like an object flew through the atmosphere, into the ocean and detonated. In all my years i have never seen a volcanic eruption act in that manner.
I'm not suicidal but at the same time, something about death excites me. Our brains are hardwired at birth for self-preservation, as in we cannot fathom never existing again so humans came up with the concept of an afterlife to soothe our minds. while that might be true, our universe is very intricately designed in ways that we're always discovering something new about it so I wouldn't put it past nature to somehow carry on our energy throughout the cosmos after our physical bodies have expired.
