   Looks like those lions are in captivity, a big male lion will not run away from a man armed with a wooden stick.

15. 3rd video is a shotgun not a rifle. You can see the shell on the ground after firing. He probably had it loaded with beanbag rounds.

16. Some of these encounters are not overly obtrusive/intrusive and some are. At the 9 minute mark, the guide should be fired for getting that close to a Bull Elephant. Way too close. The guy looking at the lion tracks on the edge of the road is accidently too close, but doesn't realize it. He's good at finding tracks, bad at actually finding a family of lions until he nearly walks into them. Stay in the vehicle !.
