  1. I don't know if I could foster a cute little puppy dog like that. I'd get WAY too attached. Then having to give him/ her up would be heartbreaking. I'll keep my rescue Blue Nosed Pit, and we'll be happy. She'd probably get attached too.

  2. Aww. Ain't lily the best…probably understood the whole situation with the uncanny sense that dogs have. Wonderful job you guys…jeez …so great.

  3. I'm sure I don't want to know how he got into his original state, but the fostering was perfect. The real Rolo did return and shines once again.. What a beautiful story, thanks!

  4. Oh sweetie! I got COVID too. The whole month of December and still have respiratory issues. My fear was mother with Dementia would have it too. She did. She only had a intermittent cough and not the grand slam I received. I was so grateful.
There’s nothing like taking care of someone with dementia, getting them into the shower every day because of night incontinence that soaks her clothing even with pull ups and pads.
I blacked out on the shower floor, the bedroom floor, and prayed for help! Unable to drive myself and her to the urgent care.
    Brother finally took me.
I still had to get her dinner?! 🤷‍♀️

It was a very very rough time. I could not catch my breath, I was having to exert myself which caused me to have to breathe heavier and then the blackouts!

I am so happy your grandmother is alive and well! I am very happy you are alive and well!! 💖🎉💖

  5. These guys at The Dodo are genius! Get others to record compelling stories that tug on people's heartstrings. Then have those same people forward it to their content team in hopes of going viral. And they get that sweet, sweet ad revenue from millions of views each video. Hmm, giving me some ideas…

  6. People need to understand, rescued dogs need time to adjust. Some come out of their shells in a few days. Some in a few weeks. The key is to give them their space to explore their surroundings. Don't overcrowd them when they come to your place. Just like humans, acceptance is the key to love. Recognize them as their own beings.

  7. Dogs have a huge capacity for forgiveness once they feel safe and loved. Great to hear that he’s in a loving home. My wife spoils our Frenchie way more than she ever did our son LOL.

  8. I hope I sound curious and not critical… when I saw the first lady sitting on the floor petting the little pup, she still looked to me like the body language was maybe in the realm of a lunge. I mean I know you're stationary, you know you're stationary, but would a pup? I wonder if laying down on the floor on your back would make a dog more comfortable with you. but maybe that makes you look submissive so that might be a bad president to set? idk. or even laying on the ground on your stomach? hmmm. If I had a house and not an apartment I would so want to be a part of this Fostering thing. It looks so rewarding. I'm pretty sure that I would be the biggest foster fail parent in the history of foster parents. It's a joy to watch all the fosters, especially when the "kids" go to forever homes!!

  9. I am from Cleveland. How about you? I don't check social media very often so if you are looking for someone to consistently communicate with, I am not the person.
