Robin Update video #2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v34Q1rTNP8

This dog was spotted along the roadway of the National Forest north of Houston, Texas by Kati & Ambrose Krause of BEARS, Etc. an exotic animal rescue. Always vigilant for “Forest Dogs” that are frequently dumped in the forest by cruel people who no longer want to take care of the dog or address the situation in the correct manner, as well as roaming, stray and lost dogs, Kati and Ambrose knew immediately what had to be done. #animalrescue #dogrescue #HopeForPaws

After patiently collecting the dog, now named Robin, they immediately took it to an emergency Vet clinic and we will be sharing updates with you regularly of Robin’s progress. Friends of Faye will be the NGO that BEARS Etc. will work with to help Robin on her road to recovery.

Not a moment passed by that Robin wasn’t met by the throbbing ache of her ripped-open face as she endured the brutality of relentless attacks…just barely escaping with her life.

While some dogs enjoyed their warm homes and loving families, Robin was fighting for her life. She was likely used against her will as a bait dog, enduring horrific and barbaric practices. With God knows how long of living like this, Robin’s face developed varying aged wounds suggesting she was attacked and then healed over and over again. However, this latest attack, whether by human or animal, would have been fatal had she spent much more time in the elements.

Fortunately, Robin is a fighter and her journey is far from over as our rescue couldn’t say anything but yes when we got the heartbreaking call about a dog abandoned in the forest. But, nothing prepared us for the broken baby we were met with as Robin was missing nearly half her face. It seems like an injury sustained after being used as a bait dog or possibly (due to burns) from setting a firework off in her mouth…unfortunately, we won’t know more until the vet is able to sedate and clean her wounds.

As of now, Robin is headed to Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center of Willis for a good triage and medical regimen. We are hoping that it won’t be long before she can finish her recovery in the comforts of a home. Taking on cases like Robin’s can be quite daunting, to say the least, but with your support, we are confident that we can provide her with the care she needs. That said, we ask that you please consider donating to her ongoing care and medical treatments. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!

  2. How can you be so cruel to that little dog who is so scared 😱 and sweet and wouldn’t hurt anyone just wants to be loved 🥰 and having a warm home 🏡 someone to love him 😢😢he probably is saying what did I do I s it because I’m a dog

  3. Thank you for saving this precious dog! God bless you! Beloved, do you know the Lord Jesus Christ? Jesus is the God, who came to this world as a man; He became flesh. He lived a perfect, sinless life, then He died on the cross for our sins. On the third day, Father God resurrected Him; He rose from the dead, and is alive! He is the one and only true living God; there's no other apart from Him. He loves all of us; He created us! He is not the God of religion, He is the God of a personal relationship! He desires a close relationship with us. He Himself said in the Bible, "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' John 14:6. No one can come to heaven except through Him! He is calling all us to Him. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Invite Him into your heart, and into your life. Talk to Him daily, run to Him in your distress, and He'll give you rest! Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Beloved people, tomorrow is promised to any of us; and without Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we won't have an eternal life in heaven. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today; do not wait another minute! John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
