You know he went through the effort when a decapitated head is telling you to subscribe
We need to pass the murder act in the USA
Veins… The Guillotine was a hammer evidently
i have a really hard time believing that a person would die straight away after being decapitated. the brain would keep on going until it runs out oxygen. it wouldnt take long to die but youd surely have to "alive" for some amount of time. ive seen videos of people being beheaded and theyre definetly alive for some time, and the guillotine would be much quicker
So many people these days are Deserving of these punishments.
There was nothing inhumane about the guillotine.
Ouchhh
Well this was a brilliant video to eat breakfast too
Nowadays people still believe that causing torture on others is an acceptable way to educate, teach, interrogate, etc.
Blushing after beheading is not possible, cause of lack of blood pressure. Some blinking and seconds of consciousness might be possible.
Gibeting was actually not exclusively for men, in Québec, Canada, there is the legend of "La Corriveau" which is a woman who was sentenced to hanging by martial court for the murder of her second husband and then displayed in a gibet, and has become a local urban legend
Ah Europe… so civilized…
Anna had a nice rack.
I'm afraid what is humane. Because only humanity could discover such vicious ways of suffering.
Say what you will about the Guillotine, at least it was better than the executioner who couldn’t get a clean chop of the head no matter how hard he tried
The condemned will lose consciousness in 1 second from loss of blood pressure in the brain. The movements are reflexes.
Just a compilation of old videos. Instead of executions using the word punishment instead
I think impalement or crucifixion has to be the worst two slow and painful deaths ever.
Humans really do just be finding ways to make each other miserable for a long time huh
I need someone to explain how the guillotine was inhumane
One minute 30 in and there’s already a couple mistakes and adverts these videos are getting worse
You know? Sometimes I wonder why humans can be so evil at times. And then I remember that we have had the capabilities to be evil bastards for a long time.
I want to be executed by wearing a helmet made of C4 with a blasting cap on the forehead. I will be the loudest unicorn there ever was. My last words will be "Friendship is magic!"
Have no sympathy for Guido Fawkes, he would have seen men blasted to pieces and burned alive…he got what he deserved!!👍👍👍
(The before and after of the burned protestant girl was superbly done!!👌😁 )
For the National Razor, my history teacher once said that the French never bothered to sharpen the razor each use, so it became more of dull and blunt that it never successfully cut off the head and instead just became a very heavy blunt object that the executioner had to keep lifting the blade up again
22:11 😂 😈👹
What about cartel beheadings ??? I’ve seen there’s eyes go back and forth
His voice legendary
I intend to watch the rest of the video, but I have to stop just to ask… seriously!?
Slapped a severed head and it "blushed" from the embarrassment of being slapped? Lady…you just had your head cut off!
20:10 Based
perfect for cataletic converter theifs
The Church only pardoned Galileo in 1885. Go figure.
I forgot the punishment where they force-fed you honey and milk then stuff you in a barrel in a swamp for insects to eat you alive but I'd say that one is pretty damn inhuman. The guillotine is pretty tame compared to that, the judas cradle and the choking pear.
The Machine. Effective and efficient
Sad that black history is beginning to become illegal to teach, sad we are forced to only learn other people's history.
Why is bud light a sponsor for this
0:05 How long the person head stay alive after being Guillotined

Fun fact: the guy who accompanied Lavoisier, the one with the sideburns, pencil and notepad, was Georges Cuvier, a fellow scientist.
Feels similar to my day to day at work
There’d be way less crime if people were executed in public lol
Lmao they used Happy Wheels sound effects @26:40
these devices need to be brought back
No chill in this video. 7/10
I still font understand what those criminals have done ? If really horrible things then screw them. If cause of stupid religions then screw all the religions back then and even now. And right now all religions should be put under arrest. So I don’s understand what is the reason behind of this all
Not: the guillotine was first used in England in 1500s because Henry VIII of england executed some of his wives and executed other English citizens in 1510 – 1540
