#TropicalCyclone Freddy, which rages in the Indian Ocean, passed through #Madagascar and weakened significantly when it made landfall in Mozambique on Friday as a moderate tropical storm. The wind accompanying the weather event averages 65 km/h with gusts up to 90 km/h. In Madagascar, it caused significant damage. According to the latest figures, 78,000 Malagasy people were affected by the floods, many of whom had to flee their homes. There are currently no missing persons.
