  1. Without being raised by another beaver to learn survival skills from release is down right cruel to them. She would be better off in a zoo protected then in the wild risking predation and death.

  2. Oh sush already and just keep her. She's happy there with you doing what she's doing. Beavers are very smart critters. Just keep her. She's happy…. I know you can't keep everything but keep that one. She's special and she's a keeper. You have the place for her. Keep her at least until you get another beaver. She might just appreciate a beaver buddy.

  3. I'd love to get paid to help rehabilitate wildlife. But I can never find animal jobs like this. Or are you all volunteers? I'm in the UK.

  4. If you dont recue the animals that your come across then your just as much of a pos as the rest of the population

  5. Rehabbing back into the wild is one thing, the other is protecting their habitat and ecosystem as a whole.

  6. I really feel it would be hard for Nibi to know how to find food on her own since she was hand fed from the start but hope it works out well 😮

  7. I was riding my bike along a pathway next to a creek. I happened on a beaver next to the path. I stopped, and we talked for a while. It was like we knew each other. Then I went on my way, and I never saw the beaver again. A moment in time.

  8. It would probably be best to keep her : she's never seen her natural predators or learned some skills from her parents, her stay in the wild could be a very short one, and I don't really see how she's not "free" with you, I mean do you see her trying to play prison break all the time? If not she's probably content right there with her "family".

  9. Beavers build dams because the predators then can not get them under water and they can build their houses because they can not defend themselves. That is why they build damns, to rise the water and keep the predators away.
