  1. On the hockey player clip it shows how you have to move fast. Also it shows the need in arenas to have a defibrillator available. And it showed some players holding the medic by the elbows and sliding him across the ice because walking in shoes is not fast. Teachable moments.

  2. If a dog attacks you, grab him by the nose and twist it hard upwards, tearing it in the process its brutal but will save your life if it is in danger✌️

  3. I sometimes get emotional when I see people in pain or in distressed over a child or loved one, I wonder if doctors feel this sometimes? Or is there a code or system to block any irrational reactions? I don't know, all I know is that I would be a better shrink than a medical doctor 🤣

  4. Regarding that first video with the allergic reaction – there's also a few conditions that cause that reaction with essentially no provocation. After more than ten ER visits, an extensive elimination diet, allergy tests, immunosuppressants, antihistamines, and steroids, I was diagnosed with recurrent idiopathic anaphylaxis, which still sounds fake to me. There's nothing quite as terrifying as having your body go through that and just never really knowing what.

  5. You should react to Rescue 911, I grew up on it, absolutely loved it, and A LOT has changed since. And considering it ended when you were only 6, I'd love to see your reaction to the technology and procedures etc. before your time.

  6. The ones of babies being left in a situation where they NEED to be watched and aren’t being watched make me so f**king mad. The woman with the older son should’ve known fully well not to turn away from her baby and the two TODDLERS being left completely alone in a room with the door closed??? Idc that woman shouldn’t be allowed to keep those kids. That’s quite literally neglect.

  7. at 4:51 time stamp my sister did that once. I think it was a thing going around with kids leaving the top a lil loose she squeezed the bottle hard and the cap went straight to her throat causing her to choke thankfully my dad was there but def a scare that cause her to never play with bottle caps like that

  8. Wow lots of good advice!!! My grandma and my aunt will never do the H.M. because they are idiots!! I almost 💀 7 or 8 years ago, they just looked at me without taking action for a whole 50 seconds ahhhhhh

  9. Is it possible to suggest react videos? I've been getting a lot ov videos on tiktok about dr burzynski and his cancer treatment sounds like a conspiracy but I'm actually struggling to know. I'm really bad at fact checking

  10. Please everyone learn to choke out a dog. leash around the neck and pull up HARD. it cuts off the airway and the dog will release when it gasps for air. water/noise CAN work but you don't want to rely on it as some dogs can get more riled up by it. You can also use a long, thin baton/stick (called a break-stick) and jam that into their mouths HARD and use it to pry their jaws open.

If attacked, yes roll up intop a ball. If it is an attack where you are standing, if the dog has a collar and you can reach, attempt a choke out. If not, try to make a delibrate jab at their eye. Don't wail on or punch the dog if possible as it will rile it up more. if you are standing the best thing to do is stay standing, and try to not move too much while screaming for help. Wriggling will kick off their prey drive more.

  11. My psychologist actually broke up a dog fight by putting her hands near their faces as a split second reactions and had to have multiple stitches in her thumb

  12. Masters of social work student here…I love that as a country we are addressing things like IPV in doctor offices. I just had a doctor’s appointment and the nurse asked if I was safe in my environment. I’ve been hearing things about the medical field going more towards integrated health and it looks like we might be headed that way. This makes me so happy because people don’t always want to meet with a social worker for their issues, but social workers can help with connecting resources but also helping with mental health. We should be addressing more than just physical needs at the doctor’s office. The only problem is not everyone has access to a doctor they trust and one that they can afford. We’re getting there, but the lack of resources in the community is really evident. Also, Dr. Mike coming in with the mental health awareness! I love that there are machines getting put in places so people can learn CPR. So smart! Also, the hockey video really got me. I currently work at a hockey rink (yes I drive the Zamboni) and we have an AED in our building and that video scared me that I might have to use it. I know how to, but I’d rather not need to. The worst injuries that I’ve heard of are usually broken bones, split heads, and sprains. Usually, I’m asked for an ice pack, but yesterday apparently someone broke their ankle while SITTING down on a bench. A kid apparently went past so fast and hit their foot. The wrong way. Many incident reports, but no calls to 911, yet.

  13. In Aus we are told not to do the H thingo at all. Do the back blows, then do front blows around where you would do CPR and then go back to back blows if it doesn't clear and repeat.

  14. I live in the UK and in recent years local authorities have started putting defib machines on street corners and reusing the old-fashioned, red phone boxes and putting them in there.

  15. For the attacking dog – learn a couple of jiu jitsu moves to prepare for anything like this. Knowing how to choke someone or something out and/or break their leg or arm could save your life in multiple situations.
