It's funny how he always compares these games to fromsoft games, but when you go an watch his playthroughs of those games he does all of the exact same whinging and complaining.
He's so infuriating to watch. He didn't bother to learn anything about the mechanics. He decided that since it looked vaguely like Sekiro that it obviously plays the same way. If you notice when he's fighting the bosses he's bitching about, he just runs straight forward, spams attack, doesn't bother to get out and heal, and just whines when he dies. And of course, it couldn't be his fault. It has to be the devs or whatever other stupid excuse he comes up with on the fly. Absolutely infuriating.
The game does have a lot of problems. But there is a lot of fun to be had as well. Hopefully some patches will clean up the frame rate and menus.

As someone diving into a Team Ninja souls-like for the first time, I gotta disagree with his stance on the combat. I think the flashy gameplay really makes it stand out and breaking someones stance and going in for the kill is super satisfying. Guess getting bodied in a game can only make you so much money, huh phil?

Phil complaining about frame drops is frustrating. The game runs pretty decently on my 6700XT, but there are still major frame drops worse than anything Phil has had. I think the game is still good despite the performance issues, and honestly pretty accessible for a souls-like. Phil is certified dumb.
