If I was there, I would call for many days of worship and repentance, fill the churches and preach repentance and sin, and why we should never mock Jesus. There are many issues with their carnival, having huge, demonic creatures (satan) as a float, is bad enough, but making idols representing Christ, and an actor performing a skit that so very disrespectful to the Lord!
I am surprised their leaders haven't called for a national prayer day, and those who were involved in the carnival, in making it, the decision makers, fall on their knees and ask for forgiveness, for being ignorant. There are much better way to have a festival in the name of Jesus besides creating idolatrous floats / figures and acting like you did.
It is no different than those in Holywood mocking the Lord at the awards ceremony recently.
