  1. Post-partum depression, canine edition. Poor Belle. That lovely sweetness comes from a very dark place. She could have easily turned very aggressive and been put down for it.

Really makes you want to visit some country justice upon "breeders", doesn't it?

  2. Dog breeders often give puppies up at 8 weeks but this is too young. They should be at least 14 weeks before they are given to new homes. If you take puppies away at 8 weeks it creates lots of issues for the mother and the puppies. Many dogs that where taken away before 14 weeks suffer from separation anxiety, depression and health issues.

  3. I wonder where they found Belle? She looks startlingly similar to my husky, except mine has silver eyes. He was wandering the streets near my house, no collar or chip. My wife and I think he was abandoned, since no one has come forward to claim him even though we've been putting up posters and using social media to try and find his people.

  4. It’s a great story but they really shouldn’t have their dogs and bunnies together, it’s really dangerous, it takes a split second. Predator and prey animal should never be together regardless of how what species or how friendly the animals and well trained are.

  5. I have seen a person comment that "Humans are the only species that can spread compassion to other species."… Explain things like this, then. There actually have been plenty of other situations where individuals of different species befriend or even adopt members of other species. There's also a phenomenon called mutualism where different species have shared benefits. In fact, humans keeping dogs, cats, etc. is a form of mutualism. Good puppy, Belle!

  6. Then why take the babies away so stupid . One sad thing is all dogs suppose to be wild and be wolfs and coyotes but now you nasty humans destroyed them by turning them into pets abs mix breads stupidly . I blame all of you humans . No wonder the dogs gets upset when you force them to take there babies . Disgusting .

  7. Though body language, and tone, dogs can tell what your saying a lot more then you think, so when you tell us you wish to tell her something. You already are! 🙂
Dogs are very instinctive. And can tell when something is wrong before it even happens. Trust your instincts to as the language to her.
I once met a Grant Dane, who was very cautious, protective and even violent to others other then to his owners. They even needed to put him in his house when family or friends came over. (The Dane had his very own house!)
I was there to provide service to help them with running water, and dispatch failed to tell me there was a dog on the property.
I did see the warning sign. But I love animals and dogs, so I didn't think anything of it.
I saw the Dane coming at me from across the lot and just stood there, calmly, accepting my fate… No point running, the boy was fast and im sure it could jump the fence without effort, and my van was to far..
He stopped, and just made sure I wouldn't move, until the owner came out and was shocked, that I wasn't mauled.
the moment she interacted with me, the Danes demeanor changed instantly, I felt and could tell we're comfortable right then, I was able to touch and pet him, and asked if she had any treats I could give him, and he was very gentle taking it from my hand, and he rubbed on my side as I walked the property.
Watched and kept me company as I worked.
Very sweet dog, at least to me.

  8. Our now 1 year old husky is absolutely obsessed with our bunny, two years before getting her we got our bunny so ever since she was little she eats lettuce and often tries to eat hay just like the bunny 🐰 our Husky loves vegetables of all kinds especially greens like lettuce😅

  9. I’ve seen a cat make a face of sadness sheeting her last kitten die it physically hurt me seeing a cat show expressions and I thought yeah animals have greater and purer souls than mankind could ever wish for
