US guaranteed Ukraine security in 1994. No one blames US if they hesitate.
UK guaranteed Ukraine security in 1994. No one blames UK if they hesitate.
Germany did not guarantee Ukraine security in 1994. Everyone blames Germany if they hesitate.
Now please explain that logic to me.
It's blindingly naive to think that Germany "suddenly" needing to rearm Europe will mean they need to borrow American ineffient tanks. Leopard 2's emptying Europes tank reserves means huge new orders for Leopard 2/3's from Germany. German manufacturers are about to make a mint on inflated prices and it would be near idiotic to think they'd pass up the opportunity to rearm the continent at inflated prices (especially if they perform well in Ukraine which is very likely) and hand over that mullah to American tanks that they can't fuel, repair or rearm without serious logistic supply changes. There's a better chance of Iran rearming Europe than America.
So in other words:
UK sings the song and Germany (given some persuasion) dances.
Jokes aside, its about time the EU's big players put their money where their mouths are. Respect to Germany for finally making the right call.
Je ne comprends pas un truc : la vidéo est en français mais les commentaires sont quasiment tous dans d'autres langues ?
Die German voice over is terrible.
America just needs to Attack Russia from the East and Europe will attack from the West. Easy win 🏆
this video is misleading…
The Abrams can run on other fuels than jp8. It is rated as multifuel, so it can use diesel and petrol.
We Americans need to understand that these European countries have grudges against each other, since God knows, when, since before, even the US was the US. we Americans are the modern day Roman empire and Europe is the modern day Greece, a collection of squabbling city states.
Germany is such a great country. Salute to Germany.
6 figure earners, living paycheck to paycheck? Doubt I’d ever see that. Bevause I make nowhere near that, and I’m struggling.
There are so many wrong informations and allegations…
I think the whole point was almost missed here.
.. The biggest reason Germany stalled with the tanks was/is that german industry is dependent of russian gas.
.. So when they gave the green light to sending the tanks, they knew their industry and economy takes a big hit of which they don't even know how they will recover(/replace the russian energy).. They've done great job short term to replace russian energy but it's much more important for german industry than it is for the other European countries(then again they only have themselves to blame for making 'the deal with the devil'). So Germany takes a haymaker(some would argue that they even became the biggest supporter of Ukraine because of sacrificing their economy, since they don't even have(at this point) a long term solution for the problem).
But the most important thing above everything else(for Germany, Europe and everyone else) is to defeat the invaders in Ukraine..
German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall is negotiating of building a tank factory(manufacturing kf-51 panthers to Ukrainian armed forces)in Ukraine of which they would even arm with their own (air etc)defence systems to protect the factory from russian attacks/defend it..
Let's see(how long it takes to defeat the russians and) if they build the factory.
I wouldn't blame Germany for being hesitant : America's economic footprint has a way of erasing anything else.
Germany felt they needed Russian oil more than Ukraine needed tanks
Increíble lo mal preparada que estaba Ucrania, con el invasor en sus narices desde hace tantos años.
Wow, Infographics 🇺🇸🦅 doing a real hit-job on Germany here
I guess we shouldn't hold our breath for an upcoming video on the US and Biden's unwillingness to send fighter jets
While the Abrams is a gas pig, it can run on any fuel. Diesel, gas, jet fuel.
The tactic is that they use fear to make the war last as long as possible to generate mass fear world wide. The longer nations fear their national reputations and power assosiated with them the longer the fights, the fear, the cruelness continues. That feeds them and makes them stronger.
I make 5 figures a year…. Haven’t once needed to live paycheck to paycheck. I don’t understand how people whom make more than me are struggling financially… just live within your means
Russian officials saying that they were going to "De-Nazify" Ukraine probably didn't help the decision-making process, either.
Germany: "Nein! No tanks for you!"
USA: "Say, that's a nice pipeline you have there…"
Germany: "Hans, bring the Panzer Division!"
Does this not get NATO involved at all? Just curious
