2. The simple fact that we are this close to collapse means our current leaders HAVE FAILED US. It's time to get rid of the present do nothing losers and corrupt warmongers and start rebuilding our society once we have them locked up safe and sound so we can begin sorting through this mess. We can avoid war once those who brought us here are no longer in power and no longer a threat. The longer we wait and avoid radical change the more likely we wont survive. Civilian survival experts will teach you significantly more than military instructors, self proclaimed experts and YouTube yahoo's. You're looking in the wrong place. "The zombie apocalypse", "foreigners", racism and how "you're losing your rights" Anything to make you mad…dummy you up and get you to worship them. Be your own man. Don't follow Cheeto.

Obviously you are going to need food and water 💧 purification tablets and water filters for drinking water are important.. but just as important in this type of situation is gear… weapons and tools.. small engines like dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and snowmobiles are the best way to travel as they are usually fast enough to elude capture and you can go wherever you want.. also hunting and fishing 🎣 for your own food is key 🔑 and saving your canned food and m.r.e foods or noodles and whatever else you have for a once in a while routine will stretch out your supplies waaay longer than if you just eat what you have stored.. cattle farms pig farmers and chickens or turkeys will be a great treat so make sure you not only know where these farmers are but hopefully you know at least one person that is either a farmer themselves or is a family member or good friend of one and you can trade work or labor for meat..think outside the box 📦 don't do what everyone else is doing unless you know they are doing it right..

15. My primary plan. I'm stocked up on food. Water and survival equipment. Ammunition for my 9 Millimeter and AR-15. Head for the mountains pitch a camp. Hunt and fish. Rely on canned goods only if hunting and fishing fail. In other words I'm out of town at first notice.

It will be easier for us then people in the city that is for sure. We are prepping every day all the time this is normal for us. Power goes down all the time. It’s the people in the city. They’re really gonna have to get ready.

18. I think you'd be wrong about the elderly and people with significant health issues. Yes some will die and they may suffer the most BUT. Our elders have survival skills and knowledge most others don't, especially those who've lived through various disasters. They survived for a reason. Even if many die from physical strain later, value their knowledge before that happens – better lose a little rice to keep them alive and get knowledge in return than you both dying.
    Many people with disabilities and illnesses can survive just with more pain etc than others and many have a lot of knowledge. Disabled people very often are excellent at coming up with adaptations and surviving adversity and the mental stress as we deal with much of that already so have learned. Part of my ill-health means I feel full enough on very little food and don't feel hungry easily. That may be a huge advantage.
    Whatever you do do NOT see these people as a burden destined to die – that's shooting yourself in the foot and creating a more dangerous situation where "weed out the weakest" becomes the mentality and people focus more on abandoning and killing than teamwork and survival.

20. I don't even get the whole hype of trying to survive this! Man even for the super rich! It's just way to much to deal with from resource, to protection, even so should Civilization rebuild it's just gonna be the same old bullshit! I'm just living my fullest while it's easy.

25. I survived the 8.8 Richter earthquake of 02/27/2010 in Chile, I lived in Concepción. Department stores were looted the same night as the earthquake and supermarkets a couple of days later.
    In my neighborhood we spent 14 days without water and 22 without electricity.
    
    What helped us get through that moment was the joint work with the neighbors, we got water from a well, we shared the frozen food before it spoiled and we organized ourselves to take care of the looters.
    I'm telling you, because according to my experience, the deadlines you indicate in your video are actually shorter.

    The president of the time, it took several days to decree martial law, so we spent a week of true terror. In addition, in our country it is very difficult to have firearms to protect yourself.

26. Antone living in the city will not make it. Don't put a nicey on it. You will not make it. No food, no water, no protections. No matter how much you stock you will not make or make it out of the city.

The way things are going politically, nuclear was appears to be the front runner as the means our societal collapse… while the video here is informative, I doubt any major center will be left standing and the several days of radioactive fallout will make any bugout plan useless. I suspect most of us will want to "off" ourselves should we even make it past the first few days

32. What good is it to prep if you’re only going to last a certain amount of time?
    What do you do after that? All that time and effort, to last a little longer. The anticipation would drive me nuts. 🙄

33. stacking up on canned foods, meds and supplies, water purification filters, ammunition and practicing how to preserve meats and veggies (in the ideal conditions maybe even grow my own if needed). i have decent knowlege thru camping in the wild and being a fishermen my whole life but still need alot to learn about the wildlife and the plants that would be useful/edible. i dont like to kill animals but im learning thru the internet and planning to get a compound bow since its silent. training to stay fit, planning to buy a 4WD jeep to get me to remote areas with a overlander shelter i think its called on top of the jeep so this would be the mobile and comfortable living solution. trying to get solar panels on top of that and get a starlink so i can reach the internet even in the middle of the forest to get information. if anyone reads this i would be thankful for your input as to what you would add or do differently. thanks!

37. This is a little dramatized. My city was out a couple of weeks during Ike Most of the stuff here didn't happen. The neighbors who knew one another automatically started working together helping each other. We got MRE drops from the government.

44. being able to be prepared for any length of time is a privilege since many of us are barely living paycheck to paycheck. Affording bugout bags & food for 90 days is a luxury many of us can't afford. Luckily if you live in a rural area you can hunt/fish for survival.

45. I saw this coming for years now. Why because they brag about it. I buy extra canned foods, and have 12 monthly food buckets. That's not including mashed potatoes and make pig slop or hunt and fish. Thankfully I've been camping many times, know the outdoors but one issue is I have small cell lung cancer. I'm going to die soon anyway. I will always have faith in God and Americans. Don't ever give up. Especially your 1st and 2nd amendments.
