16. I don't understand why people would think bad weather would be an odd thing instead of it being something to expect. Obviously bad weather would lower your chances of survival, so obviously you'd expect bad weather to show up a lot in these disappearances.

My grandfather, who was born in 1886, and my two aunts and two cousins, were travelling by car from Billings, Montana to Red Lodge, Montana in 1956, when they all had a major UFO sighting and encounter. As they were driving over one of the many hills out in the country between Columbus and Red Lodge, they suddenly noticed a huge cigar shaped craft with no wings but many port holes or windows along the side that they could see. It came cruising over the Beartooth Mountains at a very high rate of speed and flew right over them. They had stopped the car by this point and got out to look at this thing. It was not anything made by humans, that's for sure. Or, nothing that we know of that was made by humans, I should say. This large craft flew over them and was cruising in the direction of the Pryor Mountains. It had no exhaust that they could see and no visible means of propulsion. There was a large gaseous and very bright light that stayed in the FRONT of this craft while it flew over them. Maybe the remains of a portal or some weird thing like that? We do not know to this day, of course. When the craft got somewhat over the Pryor Mountains, it suddenly stopped in mid air and then descended like a helicopter would do, and disappeared somewhere in the Pryor Mountains. It was not a helicopter however, or anything that we know of. Both my aunts and my grandfather were absolutely sure of that. It definitely affected them for the remainder of their lives and was a subject much talked about around the dinner table. They never did tell anyone official about this sighting either. It was the Summer of 1956 and not a year they would soon forget. I have wondered for years what that craft was, but since I wasn't even born yet, I obviously did not get to see it. I do remember the grown ups talking about it, however. My grandfather, who was pretty ancient by that time, got very interested in UFO's after that and began buying all kinds of books and other material dealing with UFO's, etc. He died in 1985 at age 99. My cousins and two aunts are gone now too, but I will make sure that their UFO encounter is written down and in our family history. 28. In the mid to late 70's, near the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, I saw a huge glowing orange disc, which I would equate to the flaming discs the pilots were talking about. The disc arced through the sky and disappeared in among the mountains. I know what I saw, it most definitely wasn't the moon. It scared and fascinated me. Just because you are told its not possible doesn't mean its not possible. Now I believe anything is possible. There is a lot we don't know. I think it is arrogant of us to believe we are the only ones.
