Tom Felter said after this week’s snowstorms, his backyard started looking like a lake. He said luckily the water hasn’t creeped into his home.
Felter said a few yards around him are also dealing with standing water. He said his drain just couldn’t handle all the rain and snow.

Ogden is going to have several new rivers this year I suspect.
Why are the comments on local news videos always so braindead.
The government is not the answer to your problems, get your own sandbags. Too many people looking for a handout.
Utah = increase random deadly mormoner floodings๐ค๐ค๐ค
Did I hear that? Handing out 40,000 sandbags to 90,000 residents? One bag per two and a half homes?
Stop depending on the GOVERNMENT! You're Americans, act like it!
I have lived all over. The level of government ineptitude in Utah never ceases to amazes me. Mammonism over the common good is the prevalent theme here…
I remember the 1983 SLC Floods and there thousands of sand bags blocking up water off the freeway and all over State Street. It was bad. Ogden could very possibly be facing a similar situation. The people who asked so much for all the snow and water sure did not consider the damaging and very serious consequences of flooding. We may all be kayaking or boating into work or school.
For free wow that's socialism
Judas…when did we start relying on the government for everything?!? City some how responsible for flooding? I guess the media has to angle every story to include a victim
They take it on a case-by-case basis because of the number of people who donโt need them who will take them anyway. No flooding? No need for sandbags.
Go buy your own bags geez ๐ฎ
Ogden city is usually sandbaggin' anyway, particularly the mayor, unless there's money to be made by him if you catch my drift. Caldwell is what you call an absentee mayor, unless there's something in it for him.
Hope they can make the best use of all that amount of water
Left Ogden five years ago good riddance. Never seen a worse run city.
Get more sandbags Dont be cheep! You will hurt many….don't be cheep and greedy. It's NOT the Utah Way.
