TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Taiwan is extremely famous for their night market street food culture, and so tonight we’re eating our way through Nanjichang Night Market (南機場夜市) – a lesser known, yet extremely popular local night market. If you want an off the beaten path, guaranteed delicious Taiwanese food experience, this is a great Taipei night market to visit.

One of the greatest things about Nanjichang Night Market (南機場夜市) is that it’s not only a night market, but it’s open throughout the day and you’ll find different food available depending on the time of the day. Additionally, about 3 or 4 different stalls at this market have been featured in the Michelin Guide Taiwan.

Here’s everything I ate:

Sticky Rice Restaurant 曉迪筒仔米糕: https://goo.gl/maps/sPHDpyumST9ZKZeYA
Total price – 290 TWD ($9.57)

Fried Oyster Ball 好佳蚵嗲: https://goo.gl/maps/ChgAjXxYeJ5jQ75B6

Smelly Tofu Boss (臭老闆現蒸臭豆腐-本店): https://goo.gl/maps/oPXNcsyiL8mCimtL9

Unnamed Clay Oven Rolls (無名手推車燒餅): https://goo.gl/maps/d7gUXt9NgVZfkAHN6

A Nan Sesame Oil Chicken (阿男麻油雞): https://goo.gl/maps/w97bXVkR2jwy7iMY9

Taiwanese Burrito at Wu Wang Tsai Chi (吾旺再季 潤餅捲專賣(原松青潤餅): https://goo.gl/maps/9f3AibdcXd9gcmA86

  1. Hey Mark:

I like your food introduction videos very much. You are very attentive. Although Taiwan is a small country, different regions in Taiwan have different characteristics. Whether you are in the east, west, or south of Taiwan, I highly recommend and welcome you to try it. Look, it is definitely beyond your imagination, it is a feast of food.

  2. Hay Mark! So happy to see you and your family visiting Taiwan. Could you tell us your secret, how can you consume so much food but still maintain your skinny and healthy body at the same time?

  3. Wait !? Is that lil M' ?….NNoooo. Oh, I seriously need to move out of my current apt. b4 M flashes into a teen, like WHAT !

  4. The sticky rice when wrapped in leaf in South East Asia is called Bak Chang (Meat filled Rice Dumpling–Dragon Boat festival). The same ingredients.

  5. Nan (2nd pinyin) Ji (1st pinyin) Chang (3rd pinyin) means South (or Southern) Airport. Mark's pronunciation is incorrect.

  6. You are just a blessing to watch with your family mark. Your son just puts out great smiles and vibes. I watch your videos and talking back and forth with trusted vendors with respect and comedy. All your cooks have been cooking for 60 years at least. Lol. NEAL APOLLO BEACH FLORIDA SEMPER FI OHHHHHH RAAAAAA

  7. I cant believe how fast their son is growing, time sure flies fast and if a stranger on the internet feels this way it must be so much more true for Mark and Ying

  8. When do we see Micha taking more of a front row?

Such an interesting range of experiences, and he's nearing the age when he'd be a welcome and very qualified addition to this channel.

  9. OMG!!You can always find the most delicious local food! awesome 👏👏👏

This is a small night market that locals will go to. Almost every snack is delicious, which is more better than Shilin Night Market.

  10. Straight up. Why do the majority of Americans support background checks for guns yet they reject gun free zones? Don't both of these things violate their constitutional rights? Asking an honest question.

  11. The best of Chinese Taipei Taiwan 🇹🇼 and most very clean & delicious of Tofu, very nicely 😃👍 in Taiwan likely! but dislike in the Philippines 🇵🇭 very poor & very bad odor unsatisfied!☹️☹️👎

  12. 謝謝分享影片唷 沒想到我們台灣還這麼多好吃的 哈哈哈哈
    爽快
    ~! 也可以來淡水吃阿給唷 或者 去吃快炒店 也不錯
    ~!

  13. I’ve watched years of your videos and I pretty much get a good idea when you like or dislike something and I can definitely tell you were underwhelmed at that last chicken dish. Seemed very bland. 21:27
