3. I went there about 2007 as my brother lives in Saint Martin De Jussac. I went out on the road near the cemetery for a cigarette as smoked back then and left the family the other side of the wall. When I came back in my wife said I bet you thought that was funny did you!!!!!! While I had been outside on the road…..small stones had been falling….as if being thrown onto to the gravel path they waited on. From your video additions have been made and modernised in remembrance………..but still remember the sadness surrounding the whole thing and the silence of the place. They had an underground memorial of all the personal belongings found and collected of those who perished. Very very moving. Great video and great content to make this story told

17. Awesome location bringing me back to the history books in France the world against Germany have to say is that my grandad was a signals officer from regiment Lancaster and Yorkshire regiment . The stories I was told about my grandad going to war with no option but to go to war against Germany. Yeah can't imagine the sight of your friends being shot and killed before your eyes . Must have been terrifying at the age 20 years old and some was younger than that to lie about there age and date of birth. Now that's commitment to prove to there family's that your the best . But some of it didn't turn out that way. And yh we won the war. But think of the families that never could tell the stories of there loved ones ,sons, daughters, kids, babies . It was the worst war in history in the 40s . thank you Karl for showing us the real stories what actually happened in ww2 Natzi war . God bless to every soldier that lost their life and to civilians that perished this frightful war.. it's a shame you don't use night vision camera Karl something to consider using in future videos buddy . Hi Karl, as I started to hear you tell your story about your Grandmother, it gave me flashbacks of my Grandmother my mom's mother told me stories of what the Nazis did her Parents Parents had to escape from them, I'm Russian Romanian And I think German Jew, So I understand completely what you are feeling and idk if I have German in my Generation but I heard some sad, horrible stories my Family went through trying to Flee from the Nazi Cus we were JEWISH and Hitler hated anyone who didn't have blond hair, blue eyes, etc…. I had the blond hair when I was younger still have the Blue Eyes, but my hair had darkened as I got older, anyhow, my mom's Parents were Both JEWISH, RUSSIAN ROMANIAN, FRENCH, My Dad is SCOTTISH IRISH, but I want to say I CAN RELATE TO HOW YOU FEEL MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER SHE NEVER WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST, AND THE CAMPS MY FAMILY ANCESTORS WERE PUT INTO AND HOW THEY TORTURED, ETC…… YOU GET THE PICTURE SO YEAH, MY FAMILY ESCAPED AND FLEE TO NEW YORK ETC…… THEN THEY ENDED UP OWNING HALF OF CONEY ISLAND, MY MOMS GRANDFATHER HE INVENTED, WELL I CAN TELL OR SAY A LOT OF MY FAMILY HISTORY BUT THEY ENDED UP VERY RICH, SO THE STORY HAD A POSITIVE ENDING, BUT THE HATE IS STILL GOING ON TODAY WITH SKIN HEADS, ANTISEMITISM, THE HATE OF JEWS, NAZI SYMBOLS PAINTED ON TEMPLES SYNAGOGUES,AND JEWISH FAMILY HOMES, OVER 70,000 HATE MAIL,AND ACTS GOING ON TILL THIS DAY!!!!!!! # PROTECT SAVE THE JEWS!!!!!! 21. Watching the clips of the town back with a nazis for there. And looking at all the destruction. Even now. I can't help but to see so much Of the ukraine right now. It seems like the russians picked up right with a nazis left off. It's so heartbreaking that so many of us cannot learn from our past.

23. Thank you Karl for showing this. My grandmother was in a concentration camp in Latvia , Riga. She made it, ji will never forget the numbers she had tattooed on her wrist. Horrific.

25. If you go back to when you said about the school and swing? You hear someone say leave. That happened around 59 minutes into the video, Also when the pair of you were leaving the school and talking about how many people were killed. You hear someone say and more

Pause the video on 49.57 to 59, and take a photo to the right of the screen, and a picture of the house, and enlarge the photos, there's a figure at the right of the house, and stick figures in the second floor right window, mind watch it on the big tv, and take photos on big tv, I hope you see what I see ok cheers

Want to say loved the history and how shocking this was, but on the night video, and as your going upto the big house next to the well, there is 2 figures next to the well, and a figure next to the house, and in the window of the big house, there is 2 stick figures in the window a child and adult, I hope you can see this, the figures are on the right, just as they are walking upto the house, the better way to see these figures, is to watch this on a bigger TV and pause it when the right of the video goes black, take a photo at the big house and we'll. 31. I watched this when it was a members only posting. Left me very tearful. You could almost see the chaos and fear and mayhem of the the people being murdered by the enemy. I was left deeply shaken for a few long thoughtful days until my brain managed to assimilate and file the information but not forget ever! Horrific.
    I now fear more for the Ukrainians suffering. The russian Leaders are monsters as were the German leaders!! History has taught MAN NOTHING!

I absolutely love the unique locations you investigate, and love the history you bring us with each new video. I also just wanted to say I love Sarah going on the investigations too, and getting to hear everything she picks up on at each location.
