Beautiful old Elvis touched all our lives who came to know him through Takis. He was such a gentle old Soul who had lived his whole life; 19 endless years in prison, starved and alone in his own excrement. No shelter from the heat or the cold rain. No one to strokechis beautiful big long ears. But this amazing Hound endured it almost to his death with such dignity and fortitude until Takis came to his rescue from his living Hell. Elvis then lived the best few weeks of his life, being loved and cared for. free to wander in the shelter among all the other Dog's and experience freedom for the first time in 19 long, miserable years. Elvis didn't die alone, as he was loved by thousands of people around the World. He died a Hero who survived life in prison against all odds, being starved, abused and neglected in the worse possible way, dying of Cancer and starvation. RIP Elvis. Gone but not forgotten 🌈🌠💫✨🌟🐾🐾🐾🐾💞

**My heart hurts for The Magnificent Elvis as he deserved such a better life than to be eaten alive by bugs, in dirt, filthy water, no medical care.** Elvis warmed my heart~he tried so hard. Bless this beautiful boy, all the animals & Takis. We love you Elvis!!!
