41. Being sixty four years old and a veteran, this story resonates with me. I don't want them arrested. My justice involves a warehouse, rope, castration without anaesthesia, and no 911. Then post the story online of vigilante justice. That is deterrence.
    Of course they should be arrested and tried, convicted, incarcerated, and then let loose on the streets again.
    Which method do citizens prefer? Bernie Goetz had his methods. The Guardian Angels have their methods. What say ye for the most effective deterrent?
    Former NYPD auxiliary cop here. We observed and reported. Not very effective as a deterrent when the perps go elsewhere to wreak havoc.
