Thanks to technology, people around the world are able to record some amazing moments, allowing us to witness them for ourselves in the comfort of our own homes.
Today we will be looking at ten incredible moments that will leave you speechless.
Number one. Kayaking is a popular hobby among many people. This kayaker captured the moment when two whales suddenly surfaced from the water just feet from his kayak.
Number two. In 2018, a small town in England was met with a fire that caused a massive fire whirl, also known as a firenado.
Number three. A glacier is a body of ice that moves slowly in a certain direction, but in Minnesota, this wall of ice emerging from a lake was not taking its time.
Number four. The Sakurajima volcano is the most active volcano in Japan, with thousands of minor eruptions occurring annually since activity increased in 1955. In this clip from 2015, people gathered to capture an eruption on camera.
Number five. While hunting, it’s important to hide and remain undetected. These hunters were attempting to stay out of sight when a black bear cub surprised them by climbing a tree and meeting them face-to-face.
Number six. Thailand’s humid climate combined with fierce storms can often cause waterspouts, which are tornadoes that form over water. This video captures not just one water spout, but four of them happening at the same time.
That was an impressive sight, but just wait until you see our next clip of a very rare and unusual weather event.
Number seven. There are many rare cloud formations that can make quite the show. In this video, a man notices a strange, bright light moving in the sky, not knowing he was witnessing a crown flash, which is one of the rarest weather phenomena.
Number eight. A group of golfers spotted some ducks off in the distance, and as they got closer, they saw that the ducks weren’t just hanging around but rather were chasing an alligator across the course.
Number nine. In Nebraska, specifically in a location known as Tornado Alley, a group of tornado chasers captured footage of the rare weather moment when two tornadoes touched down simultaneously.
Number ten. Krakatoa is the most violent volcanic eruption in history, which took the lives of tens of thousands of people in 1883. Since then, many small eruptions have continued, like this clip recorded in 2018.
