It's heartbreaking that Leonard was in the shelter for so long. Black cats (and dogs) are the first ones I see! I lived w/a tortie cat who was pretty smart herself, but Leonard is some kinda high-level genius! He's like a crow or raven. This black cat's more intelligent and sweet than most people.
