Shocking fake animal rescue videos still being uploaded
Spread The Viralist

The worrying craze of videos depicting fake animal rescues continues on YouTube. an animal, such as a monkey, dog or reptile, is filmed to be the ‘prey’ and is set upon by a large ‘predator’, such as a snake or crocodile. This cruelty is set-up and inflicted just for entertainment. We’re urging YouTube to fulfil its public pledge made in March 2021 and act quickly to review and remove videos that depict this type of horrific animal abuse.

  1. Yes it is time to end it. Been watching for a year now and it isn't improving. It's getting worse every day as the numbers grow. This is nothing but a complete nightmare and youtube are doing nothing to combat it despite promises in march to do so. This is absolutely a nightmare if ever i saw one

  2. These heartless scammers need to be punished in the harshest ways possible… a few years in prison would be a good start!
I'm absolutely fed up with social media companies, such as You Tube, who make huge profits from these platforms without having any accountability for what they allow to be uploaded… It's a damn disgrace how the almighty dollar rules!
Keep your promises You Tube, or suffer the consequences as our voices and protests get louder and louder!
If there wasn't money to be made by doing this cruelty, it wouldn't happen. So really the suffering is on these platforms hands too!
Good on you WAP, for keeping this cruelty in the light and not letting YT get away with reneging on their promises.

  3. Those scammers won't give up so easy. Y.T. ban such channels, the scammers open new ones and re upload the videos from the banned channels within days. Sometimes they change the thumbnails and the title of the videos.
And we start again to report the same videos from the same group.
Y.T. is still too sluggish, maybe because it is too big.
At the moment a never ending story.

  4. Yes, these types of videos which use cruelty & suffering of animals for the selfish end of profit, for those who upload them, should be banned and made illegal. Those who commit these acts should be prosecuted – given large fines and even be imprisoned where warranted and not allowed to own or have any animals in their possession for the rest of their lives.

YouTube Management, it’s time to put a stop to this … I’ve heard about these videos being allowed to be uploaded months ago.

There needs to be a reporting option that includes the fact that a video contains animal cruelty so that this cruel treatment of animals can be stopped.
