The flooding that occurred was a result of heavy monsoon rains that caused rivers to swell beyond their capacity. The deluge affected several provinces, including Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan, resulting in widespread devastation. Homes were destroyed, farmlands were submerged, infrastructure was damaged, and lives were lost. The scale of the disaster was enormous, and the challenges seemed insurmountable.
