LEMON GROVE, CA (May 25, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a horrific pedestrian accident on Broadway and Harris Street kills one person.
The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Harris Street.
According to Sheriff’s Sgt. Michael Power, a truck struck a female pedestrian who was walking near the intersection and then fled the scene.
Moreover, responders pronounced the 40-year-old victim dead at the scene.
Furthermore, officers withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
