  1. So we'll done. This show underscores the necessity of brilliant writing. Without excellent writers, these shows wouldn't succeed. The studio conglomerates must recognize that and compensate writers accordingly, including residuals through all streaming formats. The current @WGA Writers Strike is the line in the sand in this industry, with other unions like DGA, SAG to follow unless the studios recognize WHO has made them their money and compensate them accordingly.

  2. Loved learning the ways they made this scene feel as realistic as it could be, and for me I hadn’t noticed that there was background actors behind the bar and adds to who might leaked that Logan died in the show

  3. The choice to have the music finally kind of seep in when Kendall's looking for Shiv was really cool, I thought. It felt very different, a lot more muted than variations of the theme we've heard before

  4. I haven't cried in a while, but when Shiv started breaking down, I couldn't help it. brilliant performances all around. just… wow

  5. This episode floored me. I can't begin to express my immense gratitude for how this all was done. This is art at its finest and HBO needs to keep this quality up in what they all do.

  6. El mejor capítulo que he visto de una serie… tan real, tan crudo, verdaderamente brutal y ellos van a reventar los Emmy este año 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

  7. I’m about 3/4 of the way into A Memory Called Empire. It’s ok but I’m not loving it. I was expecting more diplomacy and negotiation, but I feel it’s structured more like a mystery novel. Not sure if I want to continue with the second book when I’m finished.

  8. An absolutely phenomenal hour of television that stands as one of the most powerful ever made. The subtleties in each character making you believe completely in what they are going through is unlike anything i've ever seen.

  9. logan's death scene was really powerful. it reminded me of the chaos and game of telephone that played out after my grandfather's death – it was a completely unexpected thing – i felt the confusion and grief in this episode

  10. connor's "he never even liked me" moment felt so natural, it really broke me. his dad dies in his wedding and on a plane because he wasn't going to show up, his siblings forget that they have to tell him about logan…. this show is really one of the best pieces of television in recent decades.

  11. "On Succession we really like to mess weddings". Well, this is not the only one HBO original production that likes to mess weddings, so I think that's ok lol
