NEAR-DEATH RESCUE: Hiker Finds Colorado Dog SAFE After 5 Weeks LOST In Snowy Mountains#shorts

An 8-year-old Colorado Sheltie named Riley went missing for 5 weeks! On April 8th Riley managed to walk off the property because the snow was so high that day that it covered the fence.

The dog’s owner Mike Krugman contacted pet rescues and did ground searches, but Riley didn’t reappear.
On May 14th, Riley was found by hiker Zachary Hackett while hiking Breckenridge Peak 4 at 12,000 feet. 

Riley was so weak, Zachary had to carry him for 4 miles and brought him home to care for him. The next day, Riley was taken to the Humane Society and was reunited with Krugman.

Riley lost over half his weight and required an IV for three days. Riley miraculously survived 5 weeks in the snowy outdoors! Krugman who’s wife was Riley original owner and died in January said
